The panthers have a chance to make history next week

So as you all know obviously we're closing in on the final leg of the season, and room for error is shrinking by the minute so in conclusion I think it was big that we came away with the victory intact. But anyway, with the win today the panthers accomplished two things in addition to maintaining placement in the standings. For the first time in franchise history the panthers have defeated the dolphins in the regular season. The second thing is that the Panthers have now won 7 straight, which I believe they haven't done going back to 1996.

Next week is going to be a pressuring game because the bucs are trying to salvage the season and play spoiler at the same time. They picked off stafford like 4 times, and I know that because it's fuging up my fantasy matchup right now. A few weeks ago they beat the same Miami team we barely skated by with a win against. It's probably our most important game besides the two saints games remaining in the season because the cardinals will not stop biting our heels and it's a divisional matchup, which counts on your overall record, your conference record, and your divisional record.

If the panthers win next week, we will clinch a winning season for the first time in 5 years, and win 8 games in a row, which this franchise has never done in the regular season. Let's keep this gravy train moving and keep trailblazing.

22-19 (TB - MIA) is not a beat down. I hope the Panthers don't expect to run the ball up the middle against Tampa Bay or drives will be killed fast and early. I expect  Tampa Bay to use the same game plan as the Dolphins and Patriots against us. Shula has to be more creative in the run game to keep the offense balanced. I am happy this game is at home, the crowd noise should help us start fast.

    • You don’t even need 1b because Tepper is the only one foolish enough to wheel that deal.    Player wise? Jake’s elbow. JR and Pep getting sideways, no Carruth, Cam’s shoulder, Luke’s concussions, it would be a long list of stuff. You can take it down to certain plays in games. Fox chasing 2 point conversions in the SB would be on my list. RMJr slipping at the end of that same game was not helpful.
    • Ultimately this just amounts to heavy revisionist history. I mean you aren't talking to someone that just popped out the womb a week ago. I was here all throughout the predraft process. The overwhelming majority of the fanbase felt like this was a fine situation and the best situation for a rookie QB to go to compared to Houston for example. The hype for Young and our "rockstar" staff was off the charts. No one could dare speak cautious skepticism of his abilities or they would be neg repped into oblivion. Only after he had one of statistical worst rookie seasons of the last 25 years did we get this narrative now that his rookie season actually shouldn't count. Complete malarkey if you ask me.
    • On the field? Since I guess it qualifies as multiple instances it might not count, but have the damn refs throw some flags on illegal hits to Cam's head in SB50. If that doesn't count, 1A. Cotchery caught it 1B. Kasey keeps that kickoff inbounds. Off the field? 1A. Team is sold to anyone but Tepper 1B. We have the patience not to mortgage the franchise on that Bryce trade. Stroudwpuldve been the better pick but he's not worth it either.
