Salty Dolphins are Salty

I was over on one of the Phins websites, I saw that they couldn't get over the Kuechly flag that was picked up... So I tried to explain why I thought it wasn't helmet to helmet using physics..

I showed them this gif.

I said something along the lines of..

"if this play was helmet to helmet contact, both Kuechly and Matthews neck would have snapped back. Kuechlys didn't move. Rishard Matthews helmet went forward, why? because he was hit in the chest with a forearm. Because the blow was to the upper/middle part of his body it caused his neck to snap forward."

I could of be wrong, it might be helmet to helmet, I figured I'd just try and explain why I thought it was a clean hit from a standpoint using physics. I got this PM moments later..

Salty much? There are about 5 threads on all the Dolphins websites claiming how this lost them the game.. Normally I wouldn't give a single fug but, I find it to be hilarious.

In all seriousness did my explanation come off as trolling? All these fans were super nice until they lost.

Your explanation was short, sweet, to the point, and not at all insulting. Dolphins fans are just mad that they lost, especially about the way they lost. Remember how we felt when we lost all those close games in unbelievable fashion the last two years? That's them right now.

dude just let it go. no team wants the other teams fans coming over and rubbing there face in a heartbreaking lost. if we would have lost we would have been the same way

I was over there since Monday night, everyone was very nice and intelligent. One of the better fan bases I have talked to... That went sour after about 4 PM

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
