Star and Short both played well last night. I don't know what the complaint is.

This.

On more than one occasion Star was the only guy stopping the run.

Not sure if you are looking at sack numbers but as far as their primary responsibilities go they have been and continue to play top notch.

We need Luke to develop into a firebrand and cut that nonsense out

one day you'll learn not to jump into an assumption and swim around...  then you'll realize the blind can't lead the blind..

take that with a grain of salt, or prophetic ramblings, your choice.

reason being SuperJ forgot to mention (or didn't know) they played a ton of snaps that contributed to their fatigue in college...  The beef is implying they are lazy and need some guy to whip them into shape.

    • Like every season we won't know anything until the live fire starts. However, I am impressed with the high level of optimism from everyone in the organization. Canales was even mentioning making the playoffs. Wow.

    • And really, it should be 4 reasons with the last one being that there were ZERO other offensive weapons on that team in 2024, opposing defenses only had to worry about one player all year long and they constantly double and triple teamed him right off the snap all season.  In 2023, we still had Jacob Cowing who had 90 catches that year and was drafted by the 49ers last year, so teams couldn't just send everyone after T-Mac on every passing down.
