Ah, Patterson. I'm in an ESPN Custom league and the moron GM set scoring up to award ONE POINT PER YARD for KR and PR! Patterson is currently giving me an avg of 97.9 pts a game lol. Also have Devin Hester. He scored 249 pts in Week 2. FUn times.

 

One point per yard is insane (LOL). I'm in a Yahoo league and we get a point per 15 yards, and a 5.9 point bonus at 150. Paterson had been putting up serviceable numbers, but last week he gave me three to four times what he usually does, which helped me win in the first round (I would have lost without him...my competition replaced Wilson with McCown at the last minute which came uncomfortably close to sinking me). I had a fleeting thought about putting Holmes in that flex spot, but then I came to my senses. I am just glad that someone dumped CP before the Vikings committed to using him as a WR. 

 

BTW, I actually dumped Colston at the time for Patterson, and ended up playing Colston this past week. I thought the Panthers would be the end of me. Between Colston and McCown on MNF I was sweating bullets (that and Cam having an off game, as he is my QB). Luckily Forte held them off. 

 

One more thing: I had picked up Cutler three weeks ago, just in case someone would get the bright idea to play him against possibly weak playoff opponents. I never thought about McCown.

      The Case for(or Against) Drafting/Signing a TE

      TMac is a good player and would've been the right pick if our QB could throw a ball farther than 40 yards. For this team's current build (run first, game management passing attack) and the fact that our TE's are laughably bad - the five on our roster have combined for less than 600 yards total, with 3 TDs - Warren should've been the pick.

      If anyone feels like they can't have a conversation about Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career maybe assess why and how these conversations end this way instead of looking to shoot the messenger. Why is it okay to label anyone else on the team or coaching staff trash? Folks on the huddle and across the fanbase on social media have fully thrown anyone and everyone including rookie 8th overall pick TMac fully under the bus multiple times this season. But some of you guys apparently expect a pat on the back because Bryce Young successfully evaded a few potential sacks while Tyler Shough got consumed by our pass rush throughout the game and still had a superior performance. The state of this division is hilariously mediocre at best. Bryce Young is the only player on this roster who is allowed to have the lowest bar possible yet we have invested the most resources in him. It's lunacy.
