What was up with that BS unsportsmanlike conduct penalty? I watched the replay over and over and can't seem to see what Captain done. He dropped the ball before doing anything celebratory, and what he did celebrate didn't look anything over the top to me. 

 

You are not allowed to go to the ground in celebration

He should be defensive player of the week- 2sacks 1 int 1 td...thats creating impact in a game.

People should take notice of SC players in the NFL....we should start picking out of our backyard instead of going to the fake USC.

I saw Captian in one of my few USC games here in Columbia. He got a fumble recovery for a 35 yrd TD...he just has a nose to get to the end zone.

It end Phil Fullmers coaching career at Tennesse and he outshined Eric Berry that game as well...bc Tenn sucked horribly.

Shaq Roland is starting to round into a great WR...just raw at the moment.

I really wanted Stephon Gilmore but I will take Kuchley.

I agree, this offseason will tell a lot about roland and will determine his NFL future....he is not as good as Jeffrey but he could still be a first rounder easy.

 

And yes, Kuechly has been amazing lol.

Don't get caught up in his performance today. He's still a very below average defender. His testing the FA market this summer and getting absolutely no bites is proof of that.

You better check yourself before coming on here with some poo like that.....captain is Deff one of the best nickels in the league....it's when he's asked to step outside above his ability that he gets exsposed, ppl don't understand the difference which is huge....we don't have a true corner on our team that I trust....captain is a man....he gives more effort and plays his role as good as anyone in the league....if we draft a legit corner captain would be one of the best complimentary players in the league......GTFOH with that trash

I have the same opinion I've had of Captain for years. I like the guy. Like his attitude and fearlessness. He's a great nickel, good run support and good YAC (I seriously believe he'd easily be our 4th best WR if he switched sides). But he still routinely gets lost in coverage when asked to cover a guy for more than 2 seconds or 15 yards, whichever comes first.

it's still the same thing with munnerlyn which falls on coaching, he shouldn't be going against tall receivers or speedsters(at least without safety help). this is when munnerlyn appears to be getting abuse but he is usually in good position but being that short he has to make some ridiculous jumps to swat at the ball

Every year the coach gm's want to cut him, but all he does is make plays. He's no superstar but he is a solid contributor, and I hope he sticks around.

 

We don't pay him too much and he's pretty good for a slot corner.  Just need real corners for the real receivers.

      Jack Roslovic: Only 2 other UFA, right-handed centers age 28 or under had more points (39) than him- Sam Bennett (51) and Pius Suter (46). There were 4 other centers age 33 and older who scored more: Gireaux (37), Marchand (37), Tavares (34), Granlund (33).  Unless the Canes go old, if they let Jack walk, they won't get a center who scored more.  Thoughts?

      It's important to differentiate criticism and hate. I can't speak for that individual you quoted. But most people who have been critical of the Tepper's have been so because both of them have made it a point to put themselves front and center and in the middle of team operations and we have been largely horrific more often than not as a result. If people are making derogatory remarks about her that should be met with an appropriate response but if people are being defensive just because she's being criticized all I can say is people should get used to it. Both her and David would have been getting absolutely skewered by the media and the fans if this were a big market franchise. The Lakers are finally being sold off after years and years of public criticism of Jeannie Buss and even though I'm the furthest you could go from being a Lakers fan just about anyone you could meet who is familiar with the NBA would say the criticism was certainly valid.
