Not gonna lie, that was my first thought when I read the title.

I will be concerned if mcdermott leaves because Rivera can't handle the defense along with his other responsibilities. But you have to believe mcdermott and Rivera bounced info back and forth off each other.

 

mcdermott is a hell of a defensive coach. very underrated amongst our fans though because of Rivera's imposing presence and defensive mastermind label.
