This coming season. Panther fans could conceivably find themselves watching a Panthers team that doesn't include Jordan Gross and Steve Smith.

In the first game, our sucky free agent LT gets blasted by a DE who hits Cam low and breaks his leg.

Our first round BPA running back watches helplessly.

But after a 1-15 season, we have the number one pick in the draft.

if i could have retired at 33 and still be really healthy and spend all my time with my family, i absolutely would have and no problems leaving any group to do it.

 

i hate that he's not going to be a part of the panthers anymore, but i don't blame him for walking away if that's what he's going to do.

 

it will be tough, but i think we'll get something worked out with someone. we'll get a "wiley" old vet to play one side and a draft pick to play on the other.
