Alexander is an athletic freak of nature and only 25.  However, he makes Nicks and Maclin look healthy as a horse.

Waaayyy too many knee issues for my liking.  Poor guy.... blew out his knee at the Sr. Bowl and didn't get drafted.  Since then has torn his ACL and had infections and complications since having it repaired.  Maybe Vet minimum, but he can't be counted on for anything more than a #4 spot.

 

For me, I'd take:

 

Nicks, Manningham, or Cotchery for me.  Not really a huge fan after Cooper and Maclin came off the market.

My thoughts as well. I'm thinking they'll both be given opportunities early and often, along with Brandon Williams, to show their stuff. They were this year's FA WRs, last year. Really doubt GMan is looking to bring in another FA at the position.

 

Ginn will come back, but Smitty may not, if he's not willing to take a pay cut. Take a WR with the 1st or 2nd and the offense will be fine. More focus and resources need to be allocated to upgrading this oline.

If Alexander didn't hae glass knees, he would be who I would want, and would come at the right price.
