I'm not too worried about this loss. He wasn't great in coverage, he was a run stopping SS which aren't hard to find. With our DLine, Keek and TD running around our run D is still going to be beastly. We need some DBs that excel in coverage more than anything.

I am upset about this loss. I loved him. It really sucks to lose someone that you know the team wanted to keep.

They said we were worse off last offseason, but this one feels so much worse..

No it's a huge loss.  He brought an attitude to the secondary.  THAT is hard to replace, but I have faith that in the next 2-3 years we'll find someone. :D

Good luck to Mike, really wanted him back. I'm just curious for how much, if they paid less than $3 million for him then I honestly have to question Getts. I understand the whole cap space situation but my God, Charles Godfrey who should be playing for vet minimum is still with this team while a guy who brought physicality we haven't seen in years to this defense walks.
