I've mentioned value through several threads now. The value Gettlemen places on defensive players decreases from the defensive line back. The offense needs to be nothing more than efficient with our philosophy so a Gettlemen sees no reason to spend money on skill position players who are more than role players.

All things considered, good signing.  Rivera is familiar with him and him with Rivera. I've been plenty critical of Gettleman this offseason, so it's only fair to give him credit for this one.

Good measurables. Strong and rangy. Would love to get McGill to add to this backfield but it's looking like we have more pressing needs but wouldn't be surprised if McGill was high on our draft board because of his measurables.

Vet minimum would be ideal here.

Would these veteran, maybe more instinctual CB's be better paired with our monster front 7 instead of younger guys that are maybe a bit faster or more athletic? Seems to me like a better fit, as our DB's don't need to lock the guy down very long before the ball has to get out of the QB's hand. I dunno anyone got a thought on this?
