  4. Surprising amount of Knicks fans in Boston
  5. We'll know for sure in (more than an hour). But this should be pretty darn close: SEPT @ JAX @ ARI ATL @ NE OCT MIA DAL @ JETS BUF NOV @ GB (halloween-ish) NO @ ATL @ SF (MNF) (monday of thanksgiving week) LAR (thanksgiving weekend) DEC BYE WEEK @ NO TB (week of christmas) SEA (christmas weekend) JAN @ TB (new years weekend in florida!)
  6. How the NFL schedule is made: https://operations.nfl.com/gameday/nfl-schedule/creating-the-nfl-schedule/ Video is from 4 years ago, but it's pretty solid here's a quicker version:
  7. And I think that is opposite of what this team wants. No guaranteed money--I'd still sign him and give him a shot to beat out the fourth safety (Dont think he will).
  8. I think I’m semi right. Looks like ATL is first home game
  9. yet another season of Tepper letting us be the league’s punching bag it looks like, appears they will once again open on the road, close on the road, and get a garbage bye week. edit: 3 out of the first four games on the road? lol league trying to make sure we filter out early this season, ATL is HOT RIGHT NOW
  10. I think it's more like we're nowhere near TC, there's a decent amount of quality vets a available. Let's see what we have in the young guys, and we can always sign a vet, pre, or post camp if needed.
  11. I’d say the greatest QB and greatest HC in the NFL largely answered what matters most when Brady went to Tampa. and if the HC draws a top flight QB in the end to pull it off then it’s a still a QB game in the end.
  12. Oh boy the end of the season will be interesting: BYE @ NO (or SEA) TB SEA (or @ NO) @ TB I'm guessing we won't end the season with two road games (although it's happened before. ) so it's either going to be a BYE and two home games followed by two road games, or a home game sandwich
  13. You guys are forgetting about final cuts during preseason. There will be safeties cut that we will pickup then if need be. There's no need to panic right now.
  14. Hence why I said the interesting question would be coach vs. QB. really. Could you get a good enough HC that could turn this around or possibly draw a top flight QB to him?
  15. I think they think they are great. I also think they are really wrong but they already made that bed.
  16. I hope so and honestly I think the Panthers expect it. They seem to really be pushing him in terms of their PR efforts this off-season. XL is seemingly everywhere and all over the social media feeds way more so than any other Panther.
  17. Go look at the Ravens from 96 to 2012 and tell me a HOF LBer is enough to dominate in wins. The team building and coaching were the issues. If you look at all of Cam's years together, like you did, there were good pieces but looking at the individual years and it becomes a lot less impressive. The year they drafted Cam is in the running for the worst draft for the team ever lol.
  18. We didn't win because our few great players weren't greater, not because of the overall unbalance of the roster and mediocre coaching. Got it. LOL
  19. It can happen but it’s nothing like the NBA. One player doesn’t make the difference in the NFL that one player can in the NBA. Also, there are just not the same amount of trades and even opportunities. Because the NFL isn’t just one stud away, you don’t get a lot of opportunities like Miami did with Tua or the Jets did with Zach Wilson. Both teams got multiple 1sts for players they traded (Jets had 5 1sts in 2021-2022 and Miami had 5 1sts in 2020-2021) and both got top 5 picks to select a QB. They both made some good and bad picks but Miami turned Tua into multiple playoff appearances even though Tua isn’t elite. Wilson was just so bad that the Jets still sucked. We had our opportunity in 2022 where we would have had 6 1sts and 4 2nds in 2023-2025 and probably had a top 5 pick in 2023 or 2024 for a QB without trading up. Unfortunately, Fitterer didn’t have the foresight to realize a full rebuild was necessary and when a team offers you 2 1sts and a 2nd for a non-QB like Tunsil and Burns, you take it. One thing I wish trades had in the NFL that they have in the NBA is protected picks. A moron like Fitterer could have a top 5 protected pick so his terrible GMing doesn’t accidentally give the Bears the #1 overall pick because the moron Fitterer incorrectly thought we were 1 player away from the playoffs.
  20. Anyone that believes getting a couple late season wins to end the season at 4-13 while picking 9th in each round, other than 2-15 with the 1st pick in each round is not being realistic. It happens nearly every other year, Jags gave the browns a insane package to move from 2nd to 5th. If not for late season pointless/everyone forgets late season wins the Panthers would have gotten that franchise changing package. Not to mention Panthers would have had Herbo and Sewell in other years, but nope. Do I need to bring up da bears??? The goal is long term winning in order to make the playoffs, one season to tank could spark it with a Burrow that's gets sacked 60 times on the way to a SB. I want to win as bad as anyone, but the second the Panthers are eliminated from playoff contention, the ONLY solution is to lose the remaining games to gain a better chance to never do that again. No other answer.
  21. Looks like Dallas will be week 6.. It's likely going to be a late late late BYE week, ugh Last game of season @ tampa (warm-ish weather game, hopefully. Well, not "cold", at least)
