Bryce by the numbers(emotionless post)
WUnderhill replied to KaseKlosed's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bruh there’s like 10 Bryce Young sucks threads if we want to get into how many threads each side has to discuss in. That said, watching the game, Bryce Young looked bad. -
If we just want to look at the simplest of passes, those thrown five air yards or less, Young completed just 56% of attempts (#29) with a 13% success rate (#29), -0.54 EPA per attempt, and a mere 2.8 yards per attempt (#27). Bryce isn't "fine" at any aspect of NFL QBing.

Same thing I was thinking as I was reading it. It’s a completely one-sided argument, and is in actuality, full of emotion - and that emotion is, “Bryce is good. I promise.” Blaming Hunter for not coming down with those two horribly placed throws is downright insulting. He had to make a superhuman effort to even get his hands on them because they were so poorly placed… and this PFF coverage completely disregards objectivity for subjectivity in his favor, because on the opposite end of this spectrum, it should be acknowledged that had those balls been better placed, Renfrow has 2 easy TDs. Instead, this is framed like it’s Renfrow’s poor play is the result he dropped a couple of highly contested, damn near uncatchable thrown balls (even if he was wide open) for lesser yardage than what they would have been if they were thrown better. This reeks of bias. I am convinced Tepper or someone in Bryce’s camp is paying for this biased, pro-Bryce campaign from PFF. PFF were the ones pushing

This video perfectly sums up Bryce Young/Carolina IMO

Cam liked to be outside the huddle to hear the talk in his ear and think. He also had to work on getting into the huddle, breaking the huddle and getting to the line with more time. Not a huge issue when compared to the rest of the issues he is facing. With those other issues and the level of coaching being seen it's all nitpicking a pile of poo. -

How else can he warm-up up his supercomputer brain to try and read the Jags defense -

Honestly the timing stuff was so consistently bad it seemed intentional. It was the same every single play. Casual huddle, break at 15 seconds, get lined up with 7 seconds, read the defense, then try to put the players in motion with 3 seconds, snap the ball at 0 seconds. It was the same timing basically every single snap of the game besides a few hurry up plays that actually worked and had some rhythm. It was so consistent that it crossed my mind that the last second shifts and motions might have been intentional to confuse the defense or something, but all it did was ruin our timing and throw everything off. -

How many games before they pull the plug for good

The proverbial no, not that Josh Allen, the other Josh Allen, right? The guy who posted 0 tackles/ 0 assisted tackles, no sacks, no forced fumbles, no INTs for the game, right? I know he's supposed to play end but he was a non factor. -

They won’t because they need to make it look like they are making change to keep their jobs. -

I dont blame you, I blame the front office that keeps thinking guys with 5+ years of college are "raw"

I’m trying to be positive on Bryce Young, but….

Bryce signs new endorsement deal -
I would say it helped him a couple times when he wasnt very open and the pass being short helped. Also Bryce is fine in the short and intermediate timing game which is tmacs strength atm.

No problem. I addressed that in my 2 things I was wrong about and 1 I was right about post. XL at this point just needs to be deemed Laviska Shenault. A bad WR who has great athletic traits. Scheme him up a quirky play but he can't play WR at this level right now. We need Tmac and Coker on the outside. Renfrow in the slot. Maybe work XL into some slot relief for Renfrow w/ a schemed up play and some run blocking. I was wrong on XL. Given I didn't see this preseason I have him more benefit of the doubt than most. But I'm not going to be some Bryce Young apologist for XL that denies reality. XL stinks as a WR. We bet on raw talent and lost that bet. Is what it is.

Is Tepper going to clean the house again after this season?
Shotgun replied to Lame Duck's topic in Carolina Panthers
You offer a sh*t ton of money and let them use the top 3 pick we will have to choose a new QB. There is only 32 HC jobs, someone will take the job. Even if the new hire is bad, we will just suck like we already do. -

Can’t alter the past. Just deal with the bullcrap and move on. Young is already in the rear view mirror for me and I’m focusing on future QB classes -

One week before the season: Trade our most consistent offensive playmaker. Don't get a player back. Get late round picks for a team that has only hit on Chuba Hubbard thanks to rhule's wife (can we hire her as gm?). He wanted to go there but never asked about going. Yeah.... Day later, receiver that Morgan used as an excuse as to why Theilen wasn't needed randomly goes down for half the season. Gameday, one of the defensive tackles we overpaid for goes down for a month. QB looks no different than September 8, 2024. Defense looks no different than September 8, 2024. Is this what you signed up for?

I cannot believe that after 7 years, they are still the worst team in the league cant get rid of an owner so, gotta get my ass back to church on sundays…more productive then wasting time on them….I’m on the west coast now, and they typically play at 10am out here on Sunday ticket I absolutely hate it when they are on regular tv out here, as they ,Abe this weekend, they are a total embarrassment -
