It’s hard not to be disappointed in a year 2 1st round WR having 287 yards on the season, especially when you realize 175 of those are in two games. He’s averaging 10 yards per game in the other eleven.
-
He made a nice play on a young scramble drill but young missed him, i know he is still raw and rough, but i dont think its all on him. I still have some small hope for him he has shown some flashes.
-
Continue playing him? Did you see Young miss him by about 10 yards for an easy completion on third down?
-
Dan’s been doing better than I’ve expected but let’s not crown him yet. He was also involved in trading for Diontae and drafting Mingo in the first place…

Adam was just sooooo excited to ‘go home’ …be careful what you wish for that door is closed and needs to stay closed …just like when you ex becomes an ex for a reason -

Dave just mentioned he can't say if they'd be interested in bringing him back bc he's technically still a Viking. I love the youth movement we have but I wouldn't rule him out for a playoff push. Especially since he has mastered finding the soft spots in Tampas defense the last couple years. He'd bring knowledge to the wr room on that alone. -
100% would probably be the biggest difference maker for this defense surprisingly. A lot less holes than I expected needed to be filled. Plus lots of good potential for Scourton to improve and hopefully Princely as well.

Basically, fk him. lol -
@Navy_football already posted this, but take a look at McMillan when Bryce is throwing this ball. Would you define that as wide ass open? Would you say he has much, if any separation?

GM Dan Morgan: - Traded Diontae Johnson and a 6th to BAL for a 5th. - Traded Jonathan Mingo to DAL for a 4th. - Traded Adam Thielen to MIN for a package including a 4th and 5th. that’s master class work -

in regards to Horn we basically move him to the short side of the field so that he can cut off that side on his own and we can roll more coverage to the wide side -
I think it's absolutely physical. He took more risks downfield earlier in his career and it resulted in more INTs. You kinda have to scheme up his deep shots and take advantage of teams expecting the ball to be ran. It's not a coincidence that all three of Bryce's 20+ yards attempts yesterday came on down and distances where historically you'd expect a high likelihood of a run or short pass based on studying Panthers film. His two 20+ yards completions came on 4th and short. The incomplete attempt came on 1st and 10.

Absolutely. He hit big on that trade “So, the Panthers flipped their seventh-round pick in next year's draft into a fifth-rounder and turned a 2027 fifth-round pick into a fourth-rounder.” -
It's actually why I thought we should have opened it up against ATL in the first game when we were up big. What was the worst that could happen. It's not like the score was 28-3 and they were mounting a comeback with 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Sling it around some.
-
kinda agree with this. I just don't think it's as much physical as we tend to think. It's his reluctance to push the ball downfield that irks the heck out of me sometimes. Like just give your guys a chance. What's the worst that can happen?

So Dan Morgan knows what he is doing?!?! Some huddlers need to lay off of him. I think Dan has done a great job of adding talent and winning trades compared to previous regimes. Dan fixed the Oline year 1, fixed the Dline year 2, added contributors in Mike Jackson for pennies, drafted fairly well. He's not going to hit on every player/pick, but he has contributed to the teams success instead of hurt the team like Fitterer. -
Wide open. Excellent play design. ANY starting NFL QB should be able to hit this throw. This this the only big throw I would remotely call a dot. Single coverage and Coker had his man beat. The help from the center of the field is way too late. The other so-called dot. Again, wide-ass open. So of the three so-called "dots" Bryce threw, in reality it was actually one.

Bryce might be the most frustrating player we've ever had.

That's if he doesn't push to have his extension like other QBs that have remained with their teams have done following year 3. Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Herbert, Hurts, Lawrence all got their extensions after year 3. Lamar played out his 5th year. That's why I said the 5th year and extension could be a potential clusterfug. His agent could very well push for the extension. Lamar didn't have an agent to advise him. Playing out the 5th year is not the norm at all. -

OTs early but really good IOL is almost always available 4th round and beyond. Heck UDFA is a great time to pick up guys that need a year or 2 before you pencil them in as starters.
