  3. Well he is likely in the last season or two of his career. Obtaining a 3rd round pick(or higher) that could be used for a young two deep player would be wise in the long term. I would bristle if it was a 4th or lower just because you are likely talking about a non-contributor in the long term versus a value guy in the short term. We do have to keep in mind that AT is a very old, valuable player on a bad team. He isn't going to continue to be effective by the time this team gets good.
  4. I work Sunday till 3 should be able to get home by 4.
  5. Am ready to watch some football regardless if it's college or pro. That would be a 10. Dreading the 3yr old antics on the pre-game shows & sifting through the excuses on the Huddle from some posters who end up wrong. That would be a 0. Average a 5 for me.
  6. This is not madden. You dont just trade away your most reliable pass catcher. Young qbs need vets that will always be where they're supposed to be
  7. 3/10. Last year was a 1/10. So we going on up. lol
  8. This is honestly shocking He's the 2nd most accurate kicker in NFL history, has only missed a handful of games in his career, twice lead the league in FGA, was the league leader in XPA and XPM in a season, and lead the league in points one year too (while also having the most FG's that season too). Really surprising that he hasn't been named to either of those teams yet
  9. Ngl, I know WR is probably our deepest unit, but Jahdae Walker from Chicago looks like a fuging baller if the Bears let him go. Super smooth, athletic, great body control and awareness.
  10. 6 because the jags are VERY mid and beatable. just gotta take it one week at a time.
  11. Would anyone have an issue with moving the draft from 5pm to 4pm on Sunday? I know one of you said you had to work but I can't remember when you get off and I can't seem to find the message. @KyaKona, @toldozer, @ClawOn, @jasonluckydog, @ladypanther, @raleigh-panther, @Whoops, @SmokinwithWilly, @shaq, @Icege, @WaterBoy
  12. You have just described the Panthers franchise the last 7 years.
  13. I’m about as excited for this season as I am to talk to a neighbor that I don’t like
  14. Yea let’s trade away the only consistent pass catcher on the team that’s a great idea
  15. I keep feeling like I can't be less enthused than prior years, yet here I am. Each year it gets worse and worse. I have no idea what to expect, but the bar is really low and when the bar is low, my enthusiasm matches it.
  16. I disagree. Anytime you have a qb (especially a young one)in sync with a specific receiver, its a good thing. You just have to hope eventually, they get in sync with the others as well.
  17. Cam was also a drafted to be a one man wrecking crew….and was that starting week 1 his rookie year. BY was drafted to be high functioning mentalist where we could get by with less on offense because he could function at such a high level. Yet we have had to spend back to back first round picks on WRs and needs his vet WR to manage things at the snap….and he is the owner of the worst pass O in the NFL since arriving into the league
  18. Cam is probably a top 10 all-time QB talent. Bryce Young lacks a single NFL measurable and was drafted because he's supposed to be a football savant. That's the key difference.
  19. I recall something similar his rookie year as well, by year three he had things dialed in though. Especially in 15 I remember Rivera said he let him do his thing pre snap. On his rookie year the lockout didn’t do him any favors so him being a little behind makes sense. Bryce getting help doesn’t bother me too much either, but if it happens a lot this year, there may be a problem because he’s supposed to be a super processor or whatever.
