  1. Past hour
  2. I'm pretty sure they are sitting on gold with XL being at the derby. I could see all the teams we play being used as "horses" in a race. Our Panther, (XL is the jockey) devours them as we race. That's my pitch. Or.... We go NASCAR, and each driver slams our opponent into the wall or wrecks them as the "race (season) goes on.
  3. Completely disagree. Being a contested catch monster like TMac is absolutely athleticism. WRs don’t just magically learn that. You’ll hear about it when people say he’s got great body control and snatches the ball away from defenders. That’s not learned. Same with body catching versus hand catching at 24+. At this point, you are who you are. You can improve a bit but someone like Amon-Ra St. Brown has been on his Jugs machines probably a couple hundred thousand times more than XL has been. You can’t just learn that in an offseason. Oh well, the blind faith in XL is impressive. It’s like I’m talking bad about Steve Smith in his prime.
  4. McConkey played on a different team than Legette did. There was no one else on SC except Legette. Anyway, the point was that people are assuming XL is ultra talented and he’ll improve and I don’t agree. I was pointing out how he did well against mediocre to bad teams and did meh against good teams, so assuming he’ll be a 1000 yarder breakout is premature IMHO. I think Coker, Thielen and TMac will get the bulk of WR snaps. I wanted McConkey for his separation ability, simple as that and he seemingly confirmed what a lot of us in here thought. Also, we’ve been down this road with TMJ and Mingo and people in here predicting 1000 yarder seasons.
  5. Today
  6. Yea the huddle gave him about 20bdrops where as most sites give him 7 or 8. Fun fact... people love Moore who has very similar drop rate as XL
  7. It will be two hours of David Tepper, David Newton, Joe Person, and Matt Rhule reading through the schedule and swapping old man stories.
  8. first rule they would teach any proper GM in GM School is if the Steelers are trying to trade you a WR.....you tell them no thank you and block the number.
  9. The only way the Hornets are getting the first pick is if the NBA rigs it for us.
  10. The track record for this is downright comical. At this point when Pickens inevitably flames out in Dallas the next time the Steelers put a WR on the trade block teams across the league just need to ignore them and wait for the team to release him.
  11. Screen starts black. Fades to David Tepper sitting in a chair in an empty room. He reads the 17 opponents in order in 30 seconds. Fades to black. And that will be the best thing David Tepper has ever done here.
  12. I simmed 100 times with 32 landing inside the top 4. 8 times at one, and a handful at 2 & 3, with the majority coming in at 4th.
  13. If the NBA is truly rigged than I'm gonna go with the following. Brooklyn Philadelphia Dallas Or Atlanta - (goes to SA) Brooklyn Philadelphia If the NBA wants me to keep watching then it needs to be Cha Idc Idc Lol
  14. Omg...the last game against the bucs where bryce hit em on a fly route down the sideline and the ball was severely underthrown and folks on here were mad because XL couldn't turn around on a route and make a catch with a defender covering him that was between him and the ball. That really took me out.
  15. I shall keep the faith and continue with Svechnikov like always.
  16. The NBA will not let the Hornets get Flagg. Won’t happen. This is a weaker draft but they won’t let it happen regardless
  17. Hoping Renfrow beats out Moore. If so, it's likely a very good group.
  18. I more or less meant "top 6 players" not were they were playing but yeah the size and physically paid dividends.
  19. The biggest bonus would be Hunter getting back to form and becoming our AT replacement for next year. I know it's a bit of a longshot but it will make for an interesting WR room. I can see TMac as the X, XL as the Z, Coker can fill in as depth but is best splitting some slot reps with AT and possibly Renfrow.
  20. We even have more size on the first two lines because of how Rod is playing them right now. Svechnikov is on line 1 with Aho and Blake Hall and KK on line 2 with Tankoven The MSJ line Forth line with Robinson, Jankowski and Carrier. They've got size on all 4 lines and it showed last night for sure.
  21. I have always been left scratching my head and asking “Why?”. This is the first year I felt all the picks made sense. Like you mentioned the safety pick was somewhat questionable and we probably should have swapped the order by drafting safety before running back, but I am optimistic. Hopeful Ransom and Etienne outplay their draft positions and contribute early.
  22. XL working out really rounds out a complimentary room - McMillan is X, Legette can go slot or flanker — same with Coker. All dependent on what teams bring at us. The nice thing is McM will warrant the CB1 and have him preoccupied. So teams with lighter DB rooms will have an issue with Legette. Not to mention Coker will be a perfect valve who proved to have sticky hands. We theoretically should be able to carve defenses up pretty methodically. Still think adding a speedster to this mix instead of Thielen could round it out to the point where we’re a problem for teams. A Mims/Jamo type would be huge. Thielen seems like a great presence but he’s nearing a point of only being so helpful on the field. Been a stand up dude here so no problems with him sticking this year, just hope it doesn’t limit Coker.
