  1. Past hour
  2. Looks to me like he was looking to go long and didnt consider the check down to Chuba. He turns to let left and seems like he just caught a quick glance of T-Mac 1 on 1 and was going to take a chance and get bumped as he is trying to release and didnt get a good release.
  3. One of the best in the league. Would instantly be our best offensive player. At what cost? Two firsts plus Svech and nadeau or some combo. It won’t be cheap.
  4. Garbage stats? So he threw for 250 yards and 3 TDs in garbage time only? Well if that's the case then the worst teams should lead the NFL in passing every year. Geez. Slow start? Heck yes. Horrible start actually. But that doesn't take away from how he finished. A defense might give you one drive to close the gap, but they ain't giving you 3.
  5. I agree. The Panthers should have never traded for a QB. They should have stayed with Newton, Allen, Heinicke, and Bridgewater until they found a QB that could prove they were better than them. Could have gotten some QBs in the late rounds over the past 5 seasons to mix in that competition as the underperformers are moved to the back of the line. Then you add in the QBs that are tossed until one of them performs and holds on to the position. Meanwhile, the defense, OL & skill position players would all be ready for that QB that performs consistently above the set standards. Wait for a pedigree QB to trade up for if you haven't found your franchise QB. You'd have a team that's ready for them. Darnold, Mayfield & Young were not pedigree QBs
  6. He’s a #1 Pick…they gonna ride this one out…
  7. No matter how many times it’s said, they just can’t hear it or don’t want to. Either way it’s tiresome having to point it out every single time. The kid can’t play at this level. Period.
  8. Sadly, Bryce switched to first half mode with the defense.
  9. Bryce Young has the super ultra mental processor or something like that.
  10. Image what Youngs arm would be like if he played at that age.
  11. No, clearly I responded to your statement that no QB would have been successful. Which means you are actually opening up the door for us to think about much better QBs than a washed old Dalton (who as I mentioned, drastically outperformed Bryce in the one game glimpse). so I’m not even comparing him to Dalton. I’m looking at the narrative you put out about what it would have looked like with other QBs and yeah, it reasonable to assume others QBs would have had a much different season. * summary, you can’t actually dimiss Bryce’s rookie season. See this season as an example of why
  12. Was just coming to say this. Bust Young's "super processor" seems to be a sham and he has 0 physical tools to makeup for it. We are hosed.
  13. We were down 24 points late in the third with a qb incapable of scoring quick and a defense incapable of getting a quick three and out. I get the thought process of getting as many points as you can.
  14. It's a feedback loop...bad playcalls make the players look bad, bad players make the playcalling look bad. It's just a carousel of fk ups to be honest. Someone is chitting down their leg on almost every play and obviously the quarterback is prone to doing that the most since they handle the ball every snap and we leveraged 3 years of our future to get him. As bad as we've been I actually do believe they can turn it around, I just don't believe they will.
  15. Are you seriously comparing a 14 year vet who went to 7 playoff games to a rookie being developed by a coach who would be fired that same year. Seriously?
  16. Today
  17. Those Tepper bucks in Smith’s pockets doing the talking. He’s just reiterating what Tepper is venting to him behind closed doors.
  18. Few observations: BY is 11th in passing yards and tied for 6th in TDs. Of course there are negatives (like INTs and fumbles), but there is at least still some hope. Some. Bryce needs to cut down on the dumb turnovers. Accept when the play is lost and just slide, get down, and/or throw the ball away. 3rd year in, he has to figure this out at some point. Fix the horrible lapses in pass pro. Really need a Center that can communicate protections. Can't give defenders free lanes untouched directly to the QB. Surprised Bryce hasn't been injured yet. As small as he is, he is incredibly durable. Catch the ball when it hits you in the hands. That's a reasonable expectation for an NFL WR or TE. Renfrow dropped a TD that hit him in both hands and the DB didn't knock it out. That changes the end of the game. Sanders dropped a really good pass from Bryce on the run. The INT later in that drive probably never happens if he catches that pass. Sit Legette until he's ready - or at least limit his snaps. Forcing those 2 touches (1st and 2nd down) is what really led to the INT on that drive (3rd down). Tremayne is easily an upgrade. Shouldn't be a decision - at all. He's actually holding the offense back at this point. The run defense is improving, but they need a cover safety. Nick Scott ain't it, and Moehrig isn't good in that area either. Can CSW convert? Can Ramsom replace Nick Scott? ILB is hurting the team. Defensive line and CBs are actually pretty good now. Mike Jack is turning into a steal at the contract he just signed. That PI against MHJ was complete BS. He was looking back for the ball and had his hands in the air. He has as much of a right to a spot as the WR. Defense is closer than we thought they'd be. Offense needs to clean up a few areas, but they seem to still be figuring out who they are and developing chemistry with the WRs that will actually play. Speaking of that, time to get Horn in the game. Keep pounding Carolina! Still my team. Although I'm less than an hour from WAS and less than 2 hours from the Ravens. We're not a good team, but at least they were entertaining Sunday.
  19. Dalton is bad too. 99% of us agree on that. And that's the point. There's still a lot of football left for 2025 as ugly as it will probably get. The time to argue about what Bryce Young is or isn't has passed. It's a wrap. QB is the target in round 1 for 2026 no matter what. Turn the page.
  20. Bryce Young averaged 179 pass yards per game as a rookie. we had a one game glimpse that season of the O without Bryce. An old washed Dalton threw for 361 yards (more than double the Bryce average). Pass game had a totally different feel. Nothing close to it with Bryce. I would think an actual good QB….would have been substantially more successful with Frank that could play the way his O asked.
  21. Top 5 wr corp bottom of the league QB room
  22. Jaycee Horn as been absolutely terrific
  23. Dalton played against the Raiders who went 4-13 so I'm not so sure it was such a massive achievment. In his next game against the Bengals, he threw for 220 yrd, 2 tds and an int. To put that in perspective, The Bengals gave up 321 passing yrds to the Commanders the previous week and gave up 371 yrds passing the following week to the Ravens so Dalton seriously underperformed there. Then the following week against the Bears, Dalton passed for a total of 136 yrds and an int. Not sure how you can justify using Dalton to illustrate how badly young has done.
  24. Rattler; a 5th round pick busting is no sweat. Hell I wanted that guy because he is able to play in the league and the investment was nothing. He would be a better QB for us right now too. And will make a great backup.
  25. Poodle?........poodles are very smart and active dogs and don't deserve the insult.
  26. Let's just make this clear. The best the passing offense has looked early in the season when the games actually mattered since 2023 was in Seattle with Reich in 2023 and in Vegas in 2024 with Canales. Both were Andy Dalton starts. Bryce Young has looked abysmal with now two different coaching staffs to start the season three consecutive years. No we cannot exclude the Reich year and take ourselves seriously.
  27. Like I said, I give him a pass on that first season. I just don't think any QB would have been successful given the coaching. I look at bryce and see what he did last season after his benching. Apparently everyone else looks at Bryce in 2023 and 2025 only. We all see what we want to see.
