Not feeling good right now....

One thing I learned reading this is -- in the redzone, this kid's hand's are gold. We could've used that in January hahaha.

You have to wonder why he doesnt do that in the middle of the field though. Whatever the case, teach him to catch, the rest comes natural.

Most NFL DBs are gonna have 5-8 inches on him vert wise which is gonna somewhat negate his height or lessen that advantage.

I just cant get over how poor his vert is. One of the first things that stand out on his film. Looks like he is getting minimal lift off the ground.

Ya gotta count his arms though.

He's 6'5, has a 32 inch vertical and arms just just of three feet!

That's approaching twelve feet if you throw it high.  Plus he's known for catching the ball at the highest point and has great body control.

With the right coaching, there's loads of potential here for him to create Jimmy Graham style mismatches.

This. You see a ton of guards in basketball with 38"+ vertical leaps, but they're rarely great rebounders. Going up and getting jump balls in football is similar to rebounding in basketball. It's about strength, size, positioning, and timing. If a guy is bigger than you and has better timing than you, it's pretty much a wrap. Not much you can do about it.

Yep. Charles Barkley was 6-5 and had a shitty vertical and was one of the best rebounders in the history of the NBA.

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
