Realistic Expectations for Kelvin Benjamin This Season

Recommended Posts

Who is drafting him late in fantasy football?

psshhh late?

im thinking the sky is the limit and can warrant a 3rd/4th round pick poss.  there is no one to compete with him on our roster.  he could start off slow, but i can see him learning and catching on quicker than most people want to think.

Mighty high expectations for a rookie WR taken at the end of Round One.

Wasn't he the 5th WR taken?

No way do you expect 1000s or more than 6tds;

With due time he will be a beast, but once again...with due time.

10 tds is not out of the question and anywhere from 500 to 1000 yards isnt far fetched either. just a matter of him getting in tune with Cam and how quickly that comes.

He is a raw rookie WR on a running team....a running team that also has a beast running QB.

1000 yards and 10 TDs IMO is far fetched. That is what an elite vet WR would do here......unless the D is horrific this year and we are forced to change what we do

well my speculation is way better than yours lol

we cut our entire wr corp.  there is certainly a chance that 10 of those tds from our wr group last yr find a home with him this yr.  that is NOT far fetched.  am i being overly optimistic, yes, but thats me and this is an opinion driven board and my opinion is he will step up sooner than later and in a big way.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
