Mr. Hammy becomes a Brown. Mr. Hammy 2.0 only WR left

top dawg

Yeah it may be like searching for useful items at the thrift shop, but it is what it is.

Miles Austin signed with the Browns.

I suppose old Santonio Holmes is the only WR in FA right now halfway worth signing.

As far as I'm concerned, those summer cuts can't come fast enough.

you need to pay attention to the receivers participating in TC and forget about the rest.

Let's figure out the over/under on games played by Miles Hamstring and bet a beer on it..........

Yeah looks like I am going to be forced to put my real hope in what we have (for now).

As for that beer, if I only lived in your neck of the woods.  Of course I call myself giving up alcohol---not because I'm a drunk mind you, but simply for a healthier lifestyle---so it would have to be a root beer.

I know it's crazy to "covet another man's, err team's...WR", but I just can't forget about Denarius Moore.  But on your advice I will focus on our guys. :)

If a good OT option comes after summer cuts, take it. OT is priority, in my mind. With the WR corps we have, we can compete. Sure, could be improved, but we're slightly improved from last season. Good enough for a good offseason. Coach 'em up.

Get the OL 100% tightened up. Make sure you have the desired depth everywhere else. That way, next offseason, we can have the luxury of once again taking value picks and getting good talent on the roster. Which could mean another big time WR. Or a big time DB. Or a big time OL.

Priorities, folks.

Those of you that are waiting on the 1 June cuts are going to be majorly disappointed.

Each team can release two players well before 1 June and designate them 1 June cuts.  Now I see why we didn't do that with Godfrey.  We were going to keep him.  Unless a team has more than 2 overly paid players.   I don't see it happening.

If you are looking for cuts.  You won't see any until end of training camps.   Maybe one or two decent ones if a couple teams fall in love with a Tryout player and have to cut a player to keep at 90.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
