Favorite BofA Stadium moments

The 2005 Pats game was played on the surface of the sun.

Yep. I scored some free tix in the club level of the west end zone so I was in shade for the 2nd half. That was my first weekend back in Charlotte. Arrived on Thursday and at game on Sunday.

2003 Dallas, playoffs - Went hard at the tailgate so the memories are a little fuzzy, but from what I remember it was incredible.  That Steve Smith touchdown catch was nuts. I do vividly remember Cowboy fans talking so much trash at the tailgate, and afterwards they were in stunned silence.

2013 MNF New England - Just an incredible football game. Both teams playing at a very high level. That Cam Newton scramble is something I'll never forget seeing live.  And that ending...wow. So tense I could barely watch.

will think of the third later

2008 MNF against the Bucs

2013 St Louis Rams, the fight game

2006 MNF against the Bucs , here is a recap: http://espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=261113029

It was a great game for me because It was only my second time in BofA, Monday night football. The Panthers were down 7 to nothing at halftime and people were going home. Literally a 7 point game at the half and people were going home. They missed 24 points in the second half.

I try to attend 2 games a year so I'ved been at home for many of the better moments in our history.

I did see Dwayne Jarret catch his first and last NFL Touchdown. It didn't get me the least bit excited. I've attended two playoff losses. I was in the Georgia Dome when Jake ripped his pants open. I was at the last game of the 2004 season. Had we won, we would have made the playoffs. Muhsin Muhammad was a god that year and got big money from Chicago.

I attended a pre season game in Clemson in 1995. I was 10 years old and it was one of those great moments in a child's life. I saw Delano Little outside the stadium and thought he was Jeff Johnson.

1. Hixon's catch against the Saints

2. Beating Jacksonville in 2003 opener

3. Beating Patriots in 2005

Edit: Also the playoff game last year. We lost, and Niners fans infested the stadium, but it was my first live playoff game that wasn't the Checkers. So that was cool.

I drink too much to remember specific games, but I have a hell of a time when I go.  Sadly, two of my favorite moments were also two playoff losses, but here's my list:

1) The playoff game we all wish we could forget vs the Cardinals.  Mainly, because I scalped a fake lower-level ticket (without knowing it) and still got in to see the debacle.

2) Last year's playoff game.  Simply because I went with Arsen....enough said

3) Not at Bank of America, but I did go to the last game at the Meadow lands when we whooped up on the Giants.  Nothing beats getting yelled and cussed at by a bunch of angry Giants fans.

1. My first NFL game ever was the first game in Ericcsson stadium when I was 4! Don't really remember much but it launched an addiction! My aunt got tickets through her company and decided to take me! I don't think she realized the ramifications haha

2. 2000 vs San Diego, random but my aunt again got tickets right beside the tunnel, and me and my little brother ran and peaked over to see who else but Reggie White standing there!!!! Gave us both high fives!!! I didn't appreciate that moment as much then as I do now!

3. The monsoon this year! Had no rain gear, was kinda drunk, soaking wet when hixon caught the pass me and my buddy went nuts!!! He ripped his poncho off superman style and I must have hugged 20 strangers!

    • 100%. And these same people will claim you have an agenda. You can't have it every way. We had the lowest rated defense in the league last year. Statistically the worst ever. By PFF grades (for whatever that's worth- but they are readily accepted, used, and conveyed by most "reputable" sources), the defense was the worst ever. Not only that, PFF rated our receiving corp the worst in football last season. The absolute worst... out of 32 teams. Which is why regardless of the lip service Canales and Morgan paid to the current guys, they knew it would be criminal not to give Bryce more help. People fixating on team stats and not taking these things into context are stupid, plain and simple, and I'm for one thankful they're not running this team (or probably anything for that matter bc they obviously can't discern reality. Again, going back to the eyeball test these Narrative Nancies seem to hate so much, did they not see the windows Bryce was putting balls into? Have the generally not watched much NFL? Please, please show me the film where all these NFL QBs are making throws like this to this point Bryce was "below average" down the stretch compared to them. Bryce made more wow throws in that 3 game stretch of the Bucs, Chiefs, and Eagles than every other QB combined in all the years since since Cam got hurt I genuinely am baffled by people that can watch throws like that and act like it's nothing. I guarantee you Steve Spagnola, Todd Bowles, and and Vic Fangio didn't think it was nothing after watching the little guy torch them with players those teams would be embarrassed to trot out at the skill position players. The national media spent all year making excuses for Mahomes not having elite weapons when he had multiple 1st & 2nd round talents at the skill positions along with future HoFers in Kelce and Hopkins. Bryce wasn't throwing for 300 yards every week with David Moore and Adam Theilen in spite of jaw dropping throws and you want to say the guy played below average. For those people, again, we ain't watching the same sport. And the name calling doesn't change that... The vitriol and projection... it's off the effing charts with these people.
    • "Well you see if you remove this terrible game that terrible game this other terrible game and then focus on these games you'll see he's actually one of the better QB's in the league and he's actually as good as Jayden Daniels". My god this place is delusional. I love it.
