Brandon Lafail running his mouth again

So when does he say something bad about the Panthers?

.

It just sounds like he is saying the Patriots are working harder than the Panthers, which can imply that the team can't win the big games because they don't work as hard as the Patriots.

Brandon Lafell blames Cam for his lack of production. Remember the comments about him playing well and being open, just not getting thrown the ball.

Then Cam said you can take the names on the jerseys off. Don't think they were the best of friends.

That doesn't make any sense since the patriots lost in the playoffs last year too. And it's not as if the panthers didn't get to the playoffs by beating these same patriots.

All he said was they work harder.  Worked hard in Carolina, working harder in New England doesn't really mean much.  Thats hardly running one's mouth.  Had he said something derogatory towards the Panthers, then I could see how it might be worth complaining about.  But this is nothing.

True, perhaps, but LaFell should STILL keep Caolina out of his mouth, according to Cover 32's Eric Reid.

Realistically, what LaFell said had quite a bit of truth to it. Tom Brady is a Hall of Fame quarterback right now and Cam Newton isn’t. At the moment, the Patriots are definitely a better organization than Carolina as evidenced by their success over the last decade or so.

However, LaFell still needs to shut his mouth because it’s just not a good look for him. The Panthers gave him every opportunity to succeed and he simply never took advantage. In fact, a big reason the Panthers couldn’t advance farther last season was because LaFell never turned into a quality number two receiver.

    • We need a Sam Off Ball Backer to pair with Lloyd. Lloyd is a strong Interior Will especially in Pass Coverage- but that is also Trevin Wallace’s archetype. Need a Rozeboom style run stopper. Rodriguez and Allen fit that
    • There aren’t that many ways to screw Day 2 up.  That’d be them making an obvious reach, or selecting at one of the few positions that we are pretty solid at. Because as excited as we are for the growth and improvement this team is showing, it’s still not an overly talented or deep roster. Honestly, there aren’t really many positions I’d feel bad about. Feelings about Bryce aside (because we are not going to select a QB), it’s really RB (bad positional value) and that’s it. I guess OT too since we grabbed Freeling in Round 1.    While not as high on my wish list as other spots, you can justify WR or TE.     Interior offensive lineman who would likely take over an interior spot either this year (at center) or guard (next for cap casualty of Hunt or Lewis)? Fine by me.   Dlineman? Yes, that’s a highly rotational position and we have zero quality depth.    ILB? Yep, could stand for an upgrade over Wallace.    EDGE? Absolutely wouldn’t hate another option to spell Phillips, Scourton, and Princely.    FS?  Would love to add better coverage skill set to the backend of the defense. Moehrig and Ransom are great in run support but not as good deep. Adding a more traditional FS would allow us to mix and match/run some 3 safety sub packages and or a big nickel type look with a SS down near the line for better run support in possible pass downs.    CB? Could stand to get better at nickel.
    • Sounds like Veesaar is entering the draft. He could always test the waters and pull out and return but without him our big men look like a serious liability. Better do something in the portal. If they don't do something about this portal madness my days as a college sports fan are probably numbered. This bullshit of having a nearly entirely new team every season is gonna get old fast.
