Kid sees Cam on Plane... writes him a note

Good for the kid. It's really tough for Cam to be perfect to everyone he meets. He probably meets hundreds or even thousands a week. But for every one of those people it's something they will never forget.

It's always a struggle when I see athletes. On the one hand I want to go up, shake their hand, tell em how much I enjoy their work. But they can't stop and talk to every person in Charlotte so I usually keep walking.

And I spoke to someone that is famous but not in the sports world. They say they try to blend in as much as possible in public places (good luck Cam). Because If you stop and sign autographs or take pictures your draw attention and people start to recognize you and before you know it you are surrounded.

I would pie this twice if I could. Really cool move by the kid

I have to caveat my reply as I am an admitted poo-hole and it is a Monday morning and hence, a perfect storm, but if I were in their shoes I would try to avoid people and probably would not be all that nice about it.  Even training camp. If you think of it people come to your place of work and bother you....  Most people I work with bother me anyway but then through in a bunch of douches poking around and hanging out.  It would drive me crazy.  I know this is a total one-sided take but I am exaggerating for the purpose of clarity.

These guys do a lot and sometimes go out of their way for people but what usually gets noticed is the one time out of a hundred they avoid someone or decline.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
