Hardy found guilty

Cary Kollins

Recommended Posts

Guilty of assault of female and communicating threats.

60 days suspended sentence, 18 months probation, court ordered program.

I think the judge had her mind made up from the beginning. Did not take into account holder's drug use at all. Hardy stands a much fairer decision with a jury.

Hardy is done here for sure. I followed the entire thread and I'm shocked. The cops statements in court, the cocaine use, the flying weed and the judge said her account seemed more believable?

I think hardy is going to take this to trial.

And for those that missed the tweet. When the verdict was announced holder turned to her friend and gave a "small smile". Wtf

Whether it goes to trial or not....his fate in Carolina is already sealed IMO.

Way to go, Hardy.

Now to see what the suspension will be.

Probably not the best use of 10% of our cap space, but oh well.

And the guy is guilty. Stop making stupid excuses cause you like the jersey he wears.

Did you follow any of the case?

I have no idea whether he's guilty or not, but I'd agree the reaction from many here is sheer stupidity.  Especially the automatic 'gold digger' theory.

You don't know somebody just because you're a fan of the team they play for.  Heck, Graham Gano could be a serial killer for all we know.

Whatever happened, truth is that Hardy's repeatedly demonstrated bad judgment.  This is just the worst, and saddest, example.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
