You are a waste of time.  Keep up the hate, you do it well. But I find it a waste of time trying to convince you of anything when your mind is all ready made up. It is like trying to teach a pig to whistle.  It frustrate the guy teaching and is totally wasted on the pig.

It's what happens when you actually pay attention to the specific player over the years. It kind of helps you realize how he is.

It wasn't Bells fault anymore than Amini. The point of stunting one guy to the inside and the inside man outside is to cause just what happened. If they had been playing together Bell would have slid off his man and taken Amini's and vice versa. But they really haven't played that much together in the preseason given Bell is playing a new position and Amini missed most of last year. They will look at film and discuss what to do the next time. That is the point of preseason.

Bell was way more at fault than Aminu. Bell let his man blow right by him straight into the pocket. Then Bell is standing there with nobody to block and both he and Aminu are in perfect position to keep Aminu's man out of the pocket. Instead of blocking Aminu's man, Bell blocks Aminu out of the play. It would be like if Bell and Aminu were at LT and LG with just one d-lineman to block between the two of them, and Bell turned inside and blocked Aminu out of the play instead of blocking the d-lineman

I don't get it.

Bell holds off Mario Williams perfectly fine

He easily takes care of Tamba Hali/Justin Houston

Gets pooped on by Chandler for a half

and gets dominated by no name pass rushers in Pittsburgh

This dude is maddeningly inconsistent.

There is a reason why undrafted free agents take at least three years to be developed. It also helps if Bell would have played the same position. He has shown steady improvement over time, I would grade him about average at this point.

He will have a few very good games some terrible games. Point is in general I don't think he has peaked and hopefully will earn the majority's trust this season. Help both tackles, with chipping tight ends. Hope it's enough to return to the playoffs and make a dent until next year's draft when we decide who warrants the first three picks. Any deeper would be another project.

Anyone, and especially Gettlevera, who has eyes can see that Bell is not a top tier LT. Bell is there because the circumstances allowed no better. I would suspect that help is coming to the O-line as soon as it becomes available. Top tier, or even average LT's for that matter do not grow on trees.. We all know that the team Gettlevera inherited was pure crap. There has been so much to fix with so little salary cap resource to correct it. I think that the plan which is unfolding under Getts is a good one. He simply cannot correct everything at once with so much to which is wrong. I foresee serious o-line help on the way as soon as it is feasible. So what is the point of this Bell bashing? What does it solve?

    • Personally I think he's a nightmare to cover I think linebackers generally aren't fast enough to keep up with him in coverage and cornerbacks don't have the strength to tackle him one-on-one in physically bring them down which would normally lead to a broken tackle or a nasty stiff arm or just bully ball play sure you could find a receiver with comparable speed like Cooper but he's faster than Cooper sure you can find a wide receiver that is the same size but he's probably More powerful than them and a better blocker.  The size speed athleticism package that he is in is completely unique it's easier to say I'd rather have just a big blocker because we've never seen this type of profile before I'm a risk taker I think you would be God blessed if this was there at 19 I think if you can get a guy that's a tight end who immediately becomes the fastest guy on your offense and at the same time that third wide receiver that can stretch and burn defenses over the top that's the perfect what the Panthers need type weapon.
    • I think you're under selling Sadiq. They are two different players in terms of how they win. Loveland is 2 inches taller maybe 5-6 pounds heavier. Comparing his speed to sadiq.. well your comparing a 4.7 guy to a 4.3 guy I'm seeing a guy that can take a bubble screen from the tight end position and turn it into a house call. I'm not saying the guy is a certified home run pick but I don't think there's really a president's for a comparison for this kind of athlete. It's easy to say this doesn't look like Warren or Loveland because we haven't seen guys that fit this profile The closest you might be able to get is Vernon Davis.  He's not as sure far as those guys were but at 19 I think almost everybody is going to have some warts and he's a lottery ticket of could be top 10 in the draft player or could fail I am more of a risk taker I think he fits the athletic profile that could be a homerun, like I said he's almost 40 lb bigger than Cooper and like 4-5 in taller than Cooper so and he's faster. So whatever you think Cooper gives you I think he does that and more. If you want to go with one of the office alignment I can understand that as well but for value as a receiving threat I don't think there's a bigger value at number 19.
    • I’ve haven’t seen anything that says we have interest in Njoku?
