The Cam Newton Conspiracy Theory

you know he can leave right?  We are trying to build something so he wants to stay. Not saying we are going all in as I feel we will have a better roster in 2015 and 2016 but we are def not tanking for easier contract negotiations.  thats fkin cray

lol. Nice defense for an idiotic remark.

I probably shouldn't expect any more from you, though. That's the usual quality of your posts.

Comparing tanking to get a higher draft pick to this absurd conspiracy theory is completely retarded.

I still would like to know if we sign Cam to a mega deal, where we will get the money to sign Keek the following year to a mega deal, then sign Star the following year to a mega deal and if KB is great, then he will get a mega deal as well.

I know hitting on all your first round draft picks for 3 or 4 consecutive years is amazing and a great problem to have but what happens when it comes time to pay them all mega deals they will command when their rookie contracts expires and Cam's contract is north of a 100 mill

1. We're going to get $20M in dead money back over the next 1-2 years.

2. The salary cap is going up like crazy the next few years. The salary cap already jumped from $123M to $133M this year. PFT reported that by 2016, the salary cap could be $160M. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/03/07/cap-could-hit-160-million-in-2016/

3. Gettleman is going to continue unloading bad contracts, even if it hurts us in the short term, for the long term benefit of the team. We've unloaded a lot of big contracts since Gman started cleaning up Hurney's mess: Chris Gamble, Jon Beason, James Anderson, Steve Smith, Jordan Gross, etc. It's only a matter of time before Godfrey, Deangelo, Stewart, and Charles Johnson are off the books.

I think the money will just shift to players who have earned big, long term contracts like Cam, Keek, Star, Hardy (provided he's not guilty), KK.

JR = Cheap Racist

Cam = Overrated unhappy diva that hates Charlotte and kills orphans to bathe in their blood.

Shula = Worst offensive mind in the history of ever.

Gettleman = Evil man that hates Cam more than life and absolutely refuses to get weapons for Cam. He calls his philosophy the "final solution".

Rivera : Puppet and figurehead, will revert to punting on 3rd downs.

This is what the huddle sounds like at the moment.

To be fair, Shula is a pretty awful offensive mind.

Because all it takes is some idle time to come up with a topic like this which results in exactly what you've portrayed...

... well played.

Everyone's not gonna get a mega deal.
