Did anyone read the "Hi Ho, Hi Ho, to the Waiver Wire We Go" article on Yahoo?

I'm honestly confused. So this was on the front page of yahoo under the "All Stories" section right below the main story board. I could be totally wrong here, but for some reason, I think this article is in a way mocking all Panther fans. Either that, or stories are now advertised and marketed to catch your eye by displaying an article with the main picture being, in this case, Derek Anderson, and a message at the bottom stating ...

"So there you have it Panther fans. Who else do you think is worth a waiver claim? Let's hear it all you Panther fantasy gurus."

No where in this article do they even mention Derek Anderson or any Panther player for that matter.

So what's going on here?

I guess its because he left Benjamin off the list? If Benjamin is on waivers in your league then your league is trash.

Benjamin has been going late in the draft and even undrafted in leagues. He will end up being a fantasy steal.

I'm in a keeper league and meant to draft KB with one of my last picks but forgot my last two picks were going to keepers (picked up off the wires, undrafted last year). Was worried someone would take a flyer on him late, but nobody did so immediately after the draft I dropped my backup QB I drafted (Rivers) in the 13th or 14th and grabbed him :) Didn't start him this week (didn't want to take the risk of a very run heavy game with DA at QB ) but I'm actively shopping one of my starting WRs (Wayne) because KB is sliding into his role :)

    • There is a Grand Canyon-sized chasm between your opinion and the opinions of most former player hockey guys who do this for a living.
    • I can only imagine the **** eating grins on the committee right now. "Oh, Bama didn't deserve it? Oh, Miami didn't deserve it? Suck it, haters!" lol
    • To say that, is gaslighting, because it isn’t true. I mean, maybe one or two people do that but it isn’t the predominant behavior. Even Frank has given him credit. I think particularly the Rams game. A couple of glowing posts.   I know I have. Gotta be honest about it because if you aren’t it undermines what else you say.  But the degree of how far I go with credit, in terms of it being a projection of future performance? Not very far. Acknowledge it, but require more of it. There is a lot of bad play to offset.    I tried to remain passive while the last 9 games (post ankle injury) played out. It is just really hard when the lows won’t go away. I failed. As high as a couple of those highs were, there isn’t enough.    I know it is premature to just say I want to move on, made my decision after 6 of those games ended up pretty much really good or not good enough, but I have had enough of being patient and letting him show the reality either way.  So in my view, he Could still validate himself to a decent degree if he smokes the last three starts. But also in my view I don’t expect to see it. Maybe one more high quality start, would be my expectation. So yes he could still somehow justify having the job next year. If that happened I still wouldn’t have much faith given the last three years and all that has transpired. Again, there is a lot of bad play to offset.
