MSNBC Morning Joe: Hardy, Panthers and the War on Women

If you haven't seen it yet, find the long segment this morning on MSNBC 'Morning Joe' on Hardy and the Panthers.

Short Recap:  They expect Hardy to not play Sunday, not after the bitch fest they are undertaking on the subject

Hardy was Found Guilty, thats all that matters....

...but Hardy is our Franchise Player therefor the Panthers and Jerry Richardson and company have NO INTEGRITY and it appears are, until bend to the Media's will, the new national whipping boy and face of their "War on Women" Narrative.

oh, did I mention Hardy was found guilty in court...

They are literally shaming Richardson and now saying that if he has any integrity he will follow the moral example of the Ravens this week and release Hardy...

This is on pace to turn into a national story and bitch fest until the Panthers or NFL suspend Hardy.

We are likely to lose Hardy until he is found Not Guilty in his Jury trial in Nov, unless something comes along soon to distract the National media.

Fug bending to the media. We would have less integrity if we sat him and disregarded the NC legal process and our original position of letting the legal process play out.

Fug this sensationalist bull, let the guy play until he is judged guilty by a jury of his peers.

To hell with the media. The people who love JR and the panthers are going to stand behind them no matter what. Fug the media and the rest of the knee jerk witch hunters.

Yep.

It's funny (actually it's sad) that nobody was calling for Hardy's head on a platter until a video of a different player/incident was made public. I've said knee jerk reaction before and I'll say it again- don't give in to knee jerk knuckleheads.

The ones doing all this sob sister crying about Hardy would jump for joy if we released him next week and their favorite NFL team was able to sign him. What a bunch of losers they are.

Why didn't they say this last week then? Nothing has changed in his case.

Cant believe you would be so insensitive and make a rational and coherent statement during a time when everyone is in such a frenzy to blindly overreact and make snap decisions and judgements without considering facts.

But since you ask I will tell you what has changed.

...

(sounds of crickets chirping)....

Hmmm...

Thats all I got.

The one thing that did change was that a video was released of Ray Rice doing something that he admitted and plead guilty to.

I pretty much don't care about anything MSNBC says.

yep. i wondered why he was even watching MSNBC. they have absolutely no credibility with me. though... i dont watch any of the mainstream networks much anymore. i get most of my news off the internet, and when i watch tv news, i tend to stick with TheBlaze.

    • See that's the thing what I saw in game 2 was so embarrassing id rather they could just forfeit
    • Are you arguing that his height deficiencies and footwork within the pocket have not been a present issue clearly seen on his game tape particularly in the games he struggled in? Because that's simply denying what everyone in this fanbase who have watched the games have seen. It's interesting how hardline BY fans here quickly and effortlessly pivot from whailing about being victimized to becoming the aggressor and hurling out allegations of bias and hatred. And at the end of the day while Bryce Young clearly improved significantly from the first two games of the season the reality of the situation is he still finished 42nd in yards per pass attempt behind Mac Jones and tied with Caleb Williams and 38th in passing yards per game behind the likes of Gardner Minshew Aidan O'Connell Drake Maye and Will Levis. Furthermore it took Bryce Young 23 games to surpass Panthers legend Kyle Allen's 13 games worth of passing yardage in 2019. So if your argument is he became a head and shoulders better passer over the course of the second half of the season the reality is we're still waiting to see that growth this season. And there is nothing controversial or vitriolic about saying so from the mind of a rational observer.
    • Cam regularly threw for less than 200 yards and nobody questioned he was elite. He averaged 219 yds per game for his career.  You seem to be way too hung up on yards as a stat.  By that definition Jameis Winston should have been MVP by now.
