OK, was the Mike Mitchell play dirty?

Maybe not but the Worrilds hit on Cam's knees was pure meanness. Sorry, Top Dawg, but being a newbie I cannot, of course start a thread. I would appreciate it if someone would if they haven't already. The only remotely related topic I can find is this one. I looked at the play over and over and am convinced that he unnecessarily accelerated into Cam's lower legs!! I believe that they were trying to take Cam out any way they could (which is football I know). The refs should have called that one though.

So, you're not buying he "He got blocked and slipped" argument?

No need to answer. That was rhetorical.

If non-All-Pro Huddlers had the power to edit our own titles like we used to, I would edit it in your honor because it is a valid question.

worrilds hit wasn't intentional. instant replay showed it wasn't, and he immediately went to newton to apologize and make sure newton knew he wasn't deliberately trying to hurt him.

as far as mitchell's hit on stewart...i have my suspicions.

Yeah, I know what his mouth was saying, but it's not like he tried to stop himself.  I'm sure there may be some homerism in that sentiment, but it did look mighty suspicious, even after replay to me.

I thought Stew got hurt cuz he jumped in the air and came down awkwardly in the middle of a tackle.

Didn't see anything dirty about it.

I must have missed that part. I saw Mitchell bending the man's upper body back, pressuring his knees, as Stew was clearly going down.  The only thing that gives Mitchell some benefit of doubt is that Stew is obviously a helluva load to bring down.

    • 5 straight completions in the 4th quarter to get into the red zone and then score a stand up rushing TD and celly in one of the best defenses faces to bring the score within 1 possession against the super bowl champs is "stunned" to you?
    • yes, if you read what I said - that was due to his record breaking 245 yard 4th quarter performance in garbage time when the Seahawks were already celebrating. If Bryce puts up big numbers in the 4th quarter, people like you are quick to call it garbage time stats but seem to get selective when other QB's do it because it doesn't fit your narrative.  also, I'm logical enough to admit that Drake is a great QB and his performance had a lot to do with his protection, play calling, and other aspects. The game does not fall completely on the QB. Just like how the Panthers were still in the game vs Seattle until Horn's penalty changed that. It is a team sport, so many factors, players, refs, coaches are involved and it only takes one thing to change the game. the obsession with Bryce is just nauseating at this point and if you pay attention on here, it's the same 10 users quoting and pieing each other. it's super weird and everywhere else you go, opinions on Bryce are trending upwards. the way the season ended, the vibe at the stadium, the performance, should have everyone excited about this next season. Idk, maybe I just look at life and my entertainment outlets differently than others.
    • Are we sure something hasnt happened to him because that seems pretty shitty to simply abandon this place
