Hardy being advised to sit out season

Not just his choice.

IF he's not back for the Seahawks game (6 games, which is the NEW policy for a GUILTY man made AFTER his incident, which he is still likely to be INNOCENT (IMO)) I'm gonna fugging RAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's still over half the season he gets to play. IF guilty (unlikely IMHO) he pays the money back for the 6 games. Appeases the wussies and we can still make a run.

Hardy's not coming back this year, so prepare to rage.  His trial date of mid November is tenuous and will more than likely be next year.  That being said, Hardy's not playing until after his trial.  sorry.

Hardy should be back by the Seattle game. Anything later then that is asinine. Especially if his trial gets pushed back to 2015. I'm not saying what he did wasn't wrong because it definitely was. But come on, it's

not like the guy committed murder or facing felony charges. Honestly he should still be playing right now but the media made us their bi***.... and the team FO folded under pressure.

The media has already forgotten.  McDonald hasn't been mentioned at all in the last week.

Josh Brent killed someone, suspended 10 games.  NFL is allowing him back to practice and be with team this week.  It's not even news.

We fuged it up big time by not sticking to our guns.

Hardy also fuged us big time by being in this situation to begin with. Likely cost him millions on his next contract too.

Let's say Hardy's trial begins in November. When does it end? Let's say some time has passed and it's ended, and he's found innocent. Are we now in December? Never mind. He still hasn't been punished. The exempt list with pay is not his punishment. Although not guilty of a crime, his conduct embarrassed the league.

"While criminal activity is clearly outside the scope of permissible conduct, and persons who engage in criminal activity will be subject to discipline, the standard of conduct for persons employed in the NFL is considerably higher. It is not enough simply to avoid being found guilty of a crime. Instead, as an employee of the NFL or a member club, you are held to a higher standard and expected to conduct yourself in a way that is responsible, promotes the values upon which the League is based, and is lawful."

In my opinion Hardy will be suspended even if he is found guilty. I can't imagine anyone truly believes that Hardy will play this season. And just imagine if he's found guilty.

    • https://nfltraderumors.co/2026-nfl-draft-grades-for-all-32-teams/      Grade: B+ Best Pick: Sam Hecht Biggest Reach (consensus rank): Jackson Kuwatch (NR) It's easy to love what Carolina did. The Panthers traded four times but ended the draft with the same number of selections that they started with and in approximately the same ranges. They did not take a player ahead of the consensus until Kuwatch at No. 227, and it's easy to see how he fell through the cracks playing at Miami of Ohio. He's a high-end athlete, though, and has a chance to develop, which is a fine profile for a seventh-rounder. Freeling and Brazzell also checked the high-end athleticism upside boxes for the Panthers. Carolina let the board come to them in the first round and could have a long-term solution at left tackle, which is a hard position to fill. Brazzell slid because of some maturity concerns as well as the difficulty in projecting receivers from Tennessee's Mickey Mouse offense. At 6-4, 200 pounds and 4.37 in the 40, though, the upside is undeniable. On top of that, the landed three starters on Day 3. Normally that's a high and unrealistic bar, but Hecht and Wheatley were both firmly inside the top 100 on the consensus board and have paths to win starting competitions. Lee fits the scheme well and has some interesting traits as an outside corner. What stopped me from a full-out A grade is not loving the Hunter pick, though he does fill a need to replace DT A'Shawn Robinson. There were prospects at other needs positions I would have been more jazzed about. The Brazzell pick is also an interesting risk for a team that's still in building mode, even coming off an NFC South title. Still, I'm nitpicking
