You know what else sucks about this?

 

The team had a roster exemption for Frank Alexander this week because he was coming off a suspension.

 

As I understand it, that exemption no longer applies, so anyone else signed now costs someone else their spot (at another position).

If the exemption no longer applies, couldn't we just cut Alexander and get to 53?

Yes, but with Johnson ailing we have only three healthy defensive ends.

 

I don't know that I wanna go into a game with just that.

Kony needs to add about 7-10 pounds imo. He'll atleast need the rest of this season to develop but live game reps can't hurt.

If we plan on spending anymore money this season I prefer it be spent on the OL
