LaFell

who cares, I don't dislike or like Brandon LaFell more than any other player now. Good for him for fixing the mistakes, but I'm really happy with our WR group this year - aside from Cotch's drop the other day. I have had ZERO complaints this season.

LaFell had moments like those while he was here. On the whole, I still don't think we lost much because of his inconsistency. If he strings together games like these the rest of the season, good for him. I doubt it happens though

The LaFell giveth, and the LaFell taketh away...

Saw the NFL.com highlight video couldn't help but make a snide comment about Brady>Cam in regards to his two touchdown grabs Sunday.

Uh, NFL.com, Kelvin has been catching TDs since game 1, so we really don't care about that one time Lafell briefly flashed like an actual NFL receiver. He'll go back to his crucial-pass-dropping ways soon enough, no need to drag Cam in the mud.

    • https://www.profootballnetwork.com/patriots-trade-deadline-rumors-5-deals-before-nov-4/ Move 3: Chuba Hubbard, RB, Carolina Panthers Trade Details: > Patriots receive: Chuba Hubbard and 2026 seventh-round pick > Panthers receive: 2026 fourth-round pick New England needs more from their backfield. Rhamondre Stevenson has struggled throughout the season, and while TreVeyon Henderson has flashed, he has not yet earned the trust to be a consistent focal point, lacking proper snaps for a lead back. The Patriots have had to lean on Maye’s arm more heavily than ideal, and adding a runner capable of producing efficient yardage would give the offense better balance.
    • There aren't 32 legitimate starting caliber QBs in the league. Just like when we were starting Bell and Chandler at OT, did that make them legit "starters"? I mean, technically I guess it did since they were indeed starting but they sure as hell weren't starting caliber players. If you have the 30th best starting QB in the league, you desperately need a starting QB and there's likely backups on other rosters better than your starter just like there were better backup OTs on other rosters than Bell and Chandler.
    • Name a QB as bad as Bryce who had their 5th picked up?  You certainly can name better ones who didn't have it picked up.
