We still have him down for 2015 and would tag him to keep him on the team in 2016 and possibly 2017.  I don't see Cam going anywhere... not anytime soon, anyway.  And if he really wanted to leave, we would find a way to trade him.

Cam is not Gettleman's guy. Could that have changed? Not sure. I'm not sold on getts or the combo of he, shula and RR. We shall see.

Go back and watch the postseason presser with Gettleman from last season. In Gettleman's words, "He flat out proved" he was a franchise quarterback.

If he does, I wouldn't be surprised. He'll be going on his 5th year next year, and we still haven't committed to fully helping him out. We've been spending all these years trying to be a defensive juggernaut, and we're right back at square one. Chances are high that we'll spend next year mostly on the defense again. Tagging him would be pointless. If it comes to that, just let him leave and get a decent compensatory draft pick in return. Forcing a franchise QB to stay when he doesn't want to is a recipe for an awful season.

Yeah most likely it wont be because of that.  Cam can make millions more in a bigger city with just endorsements alone.

I believe Kroeger brought up yesterday that Cam has already blown off contract extension negotiations until the season is over. It's a definite possibility Cam won't be here after his 5th year.

Athletes typically blow off any contract talks because that is handled by the agent. If we wanted a more clear answer on where the contract talks stand, Bus Cook would be the guy to talk to..
