Harper is pretty awful but the only reason my hate isnt as strong for him is because he has actually had a couple clutch (albeit lucky) interceptions as well, what other person on this putrid ass, awful D has had that kind of momentum changing impact?! Doesn't make up for his bad plays.

highly doubt if DG ever considered Harper more than a temporary band-aid. He's not a mistake, he was the only thing available in our price range.

Not entirely true. Half of the players in his "range" didn't get signed, possibly still available. Here's the thing, we paid Harper for his name recognition, but not because he was the best we could afford imo. Remember, when Harper was signed, the fan base was going crazy about signing someone people could get behind in free agency (hell, admittedly, me too, I'm irrational sometimes, I admit it when it comes to teams I'm a fan of). That said, I'm not sure due diligence was done concerning harpers ability. Says something bad when his former team was ecstatic to see him go.

Sadly Godfrey offers wayy less so I agree with the order of the cuts. I just cannot see Harper being cut bc of his two year contract.

I said it before..Harper was the weak link on one of the worst defenses in NFL history with the Saints two seasons ago...now we have him.

Harper got moved to spot duty in NO before he left but he is a full time starter here......That has made no sense from the beginning.
