How do you feel as a Panthers fan if John Fox and the Broncos win the superbowl?

Fox is so removed from this franchise at this point I would be indifferent to it.

Also we all know and so does the media and players...that if Fox got a ring this season it would be as a result of Peyton Manning and that upgraded pro bowl Defense not the other way around.

Actually id be even appreciative of him getting it and I hated the man his last three seasons here bc I think he directly had Hurney influenced by his philosophy and convinced Hurney that safety/TE/DT are positions to ignore.

Fox has gone to the Playoffs every year in Denver, the first of which was with Tim T E B O W..  at QB!!!!!!!!!!!!  And He WON a playoff game with him.

 

Also, Steve Smith has a hall of fame career with unreal numbers on a better offense with Elite QB in his prime.  Something Hurney and Co. failed to deliver.

Fox has gone to the Playoffs every year in Denver, the first of which was with Tim T E B O W..  at QB!!!!!!!!!!!!  And He WON a playoff game with him.

lol yeah delhomme sticking around here until he was falling apart was all on hurney and the fo.  100% revisionist history.  are you sure you watched the panthers before 2011?  you don't remember the repeated refrain of "jake gives us the best chance to win" when he was playing the absolute worst football of his career?

 

yeah i remember the t3bow thing since we're bringing that up.  fox was insistent on sticking with orton as denver's season circled the toilet until elway forced him to make a change at quarterback and he finally did.  they went .500 and backed in to the playoffs as a result.  really no different than 2009 here when jake finally got "injured" and was IR'd except 8-8 gets you nowhere close to the playoffs in the NFC south up until this year.

 

hurney sucked and i'm no fan of richardson but you're crazy if you think we were holding bill belichick captive here or whatever the company line among the john fox fan club is now.  the front office spent boatloads of cash on fox's favorite players and gave him freedom to build his rosters here.  the one season they didn't was 2010.

denver has him on a leash and he has substantially less sway over personnel and playcalling there. it's obvious to anyone who remembers anything about his days coaching the panthers.

bringing in manning was 100% an elway move-quarterback is just another position to fox and i really truly believe that orton would be their starter right now if it was his call. i mean he was begrudgingly forced into starting teboner by ownership and fan pressure and was still making a bunch of snarky comments to the media even after they were winning.

Fox and hurney tried to get manning back in the day of I remember correctly.

Maybe it was fox's idea to get him all along

Forget most of you guys... I'd be totally thrilled for him. He deserves it. I wouldn't really care about the Broncos themselves winning it all, but I absolutely would for Coach Fox. He gave us some wonderful memories that will always be special... no matter how far this era with Cam takes us. So I hope he does it.
