Realistically, how soon can we fire Shula?

Recommended Posts

He'll be our OC as long as Rivera is here, probably.

Not if JR gets sick of losing. We were 12th in total offense in 2012 and dropped to 26th last year during Shula's first season. The only reason we averaged the same amount of points is because the defense consistently put the offense in position. Shula has got to go. Continuity be damned...this offense sucks with him calling the plays.

also firing the OC and replacing him with the QB coach or anything like that won't fix anything. they need a fresh start on offense that gets away from relying on cam running so much and is designed to get the mismatches we should have with KB and olsen and the talented RBs

Yeah, Shula gave the Panthers continuity.

Problem is; he has an Inability to call plays.

Isn't it amazing how bad the play calling, and reliance on Cam running and the reliance on the Read Option has become, ever since Cam got healthy after the media was begging the Panthers to run him, and run in general?

our offense has just been so darn efficient.

No it hasn't.

4 if our 5 offensive linemen weren't even fugging drafted.

But don't worry, the grass is always greener.

The hiring of the next OC will make that work.

Then the next.

Them the next.

But seriously at this point if they fire him I will not care. He isn't my boy or anything. I just think we have personnel problems up front that would make it hard on anyone
