Rivera's piss poor ability to gameplan and adapt on the fly is also killing us. I'm sorry, but he's basically a DC pretending to be a HC.

 

In the end, I think Rivera hitching his wagon to Shula may very well get them both fired.

Remove Shula, replace him with Ramsdell and base Rivera's job status on the rest of the season. I think DG should be allowed to have his own coach so he can take all the blame. No more Hurney fug ups mudding the water.

Agree and simplify...find the 3 or 4 plays they can do and do them in variations

Those practices need to be a lot tougher and they need to be teachers not threatening and screaming. If you have worked for a poor leader that all they did was scream, you understand what I mean

This is a weak team right now. Weak mentally. Weak in talent. Weak in coaching. Just weak. That's why i I say as a Team they must come together in what they can do together vs. continuing to do what they can't do

But if you can't execute consistently, you do not play and it makes no difference who you are

First thing I would do is have a meeting with Gettleman to see what he feels is the problem.  I would probably be tired after all that work, so then I would need a nap.

Starting out the year there were lines worse than ours. Without writing a page Shula has made it does not better and I'm not even sure we run a air coryell anymore. I know its simple to blame him but really it's that simple this time.

My #1 question would be, "many people were questioning the decision to franchise hardy prior to his being franchised, primarily due to cap concerns. With that in mind and the glaring needs being seen at OT and DB, are you regretting sinking 13 million of cap space to just 1 player while there were so many other glaring holes?" There has to be a change amongst the coaches.  A good franchise would make a change to put the team, and everyone else on notice that this isn't tolerated.

 

I would fire the OC.  I hate calling for another man's job, but a change has to be made.  The team lacks focus, discipline, and talent on offense.  We know what we have, and it's not cutting it. 

 

I'd fire Shula today.  It'll either backfire and the offense gets "worse" or possibly the team is rejuvenated.  Cutting a player doesn't work, management and coaches don't receive enough of the blame.  The "safe" firing would be Shula, and it must be done.

I would keep Cam, Luke, TD, Jones, Norman, Star, and find some fugging way to bring Johnny Cochran back from the grave to get Hardy back on this field.
