Question: If Rivera, Shula and balance of staff are retained

To all the Huddler"s out there, answer this. If the HC,OC, and DC stay but they dump some lower level coaches to try and pacify the masses....how many of you would have had enough? I don't put anything past these clowns to try and save their skin (including dumping Cam in a trade). We are all avid fans, but does there come a point

when one has to step back and consider alliances?

I am happy to be a Panthers fan. I want a team that can win back to back seasons. If this staff thinks tearing down the walls and rebuilding is the answer? Then I am on board. If JR retains these guys? then you guys are free to go be Dallas or NE fans. Or where ever? But Getts brought us a playoff season with alot of obstacles that most teams can't overcome. I am sure they expected a bit more success this year? At least to be competitive? But I am sure they didn't plan for the injuries and absence of Hardy?

Either way, I lived through enough bad Panther seasons to where one more won't kill me. In fact at least one every other year. That is what I am tired of. And that's what Getts was brought here to fix. Of course I'd love to see us running the table this year, but not if that meant we were gonna have 3 shitty seasons in a row after that. I want us to be a year in and year out team. Not a, once a decade, flash in the pan team. I know it sucks now. But I believe the long term pay out is worth it. Shula can go. He's really the only one that truly bothers me at this point.

But to answer your question..., I will be a Panthers fan until they close the doors and shut the lights off!!! Let's Go Panthers!!!!!

I have a hard time fathoming that as a possibility.

As mentioned elsewhere, we're not just losing games.  We're getting blown out while also looking like The Jerry Springer Show behind the scenes.

Coaches can survive losing seasons if the team still looks professional.  They very rarely survive the locker room becoming a dumpster fire.

Nah, I'm just going to pick a team to bandwagon for the playoffs like I do almost every single year. It will be the Browns in the AFC and the Cards in the NFC.

I was thinking the same: If Panthers keep playing like crap or the coaching staff continues to suck then I usually pick two teams I think I would like to see in the Super Bowl. This year I enjoy watching Green Bay (decent fans, cool stadium, great Quarterback) in the NFC & Denver in the AFC. Would make for a good SB.

    • I’ve rarely ever been more sure of anything than losing out — but how can anyone say with a straight face “Bryce hasn’t improved, but Canales has and he’s masks his flaws”. You have to be so out of touch with reality to put one way above the other when discussing those two.
    • Last night was the classic example of a visiting team just holding on through the wave of emotion a home team has at the start of a big time game. Bama’s first two kickoff returns really set them back as far as playcalling and allowed OU to dictate field position. The emotion of the home crowd fed into what OU was doing at that point, and it felt like Bama would not be able to overcome that.     Once the kickoff returner was told to fair catch every kick, the game shifted, as Bama wasn’t starting each drive inside their own 15. It was then that Bama was able to make some plays, outscoring OU 34-7 the rest of the way.  I think the last 3/4 of the game proves Bama was the better team. OU was just able to ride the initial wave of emotion to a big lead, but Bama held on just enough.  However, had OU blocked the punt on Bama’s second drive and scored a TD (vice a FG on the ensuing drive), things likely would have been different.  Anyway, Roll Tide!
