And the offensive line. They have to at least get in the way of somebody.

lol

He thinks Cam needs to stay in the pocket more, have less run plays designed for him considering how he's getting beat up. Can't be a runner and throw the ball surgically too when he needs to. Nothing new. He says that Cam is asked to do it all.

He & Sharpe pick Carolina to win. Billick picks Atlanta.

I understand what  Michael Robinson is saying but, #1 Cam is just not accurate enough to be a pure pocket passer QB. #2 For the Panthers to move the ball on the ground, Cam has to be able to run the ball a lot. Neither of these choices are good ones,so thiis limits the teams options for success.

Well, we know that isn't the problem. Or at least the way to for sure solve our offense's problems. Robinson's been playing the last few years, not analyzing so he doesn't have history. Because he would know that Cam has done that and did it well and there's more than meets the eye for him to have these problems now.

I did love his statement about the oline though. Almost as if he was pleading for them to do something. :D

And he's exactly right. Been saying it forever and we all got a taste of it at the beginning of the year. Cam wasn't flashy and didn't get the stats for his fanboys but our offense clicked and was very effective. Real Panther fans don't give a poo about his individual stats. Problem is our coaches are too stupid. They need to gain yards rushing with stewy instead of running Cam. We have an expensive backfield yet plays are called for Cam to rush on opposing defenses to open up some passing, which is sad. Despite this however cam doesn't have the oline to stay comfortable I the pocket.

What a waste of money on the RBs part and waste of talent on cams part, just dumb.

I'm not talking about goal line or short yardage sneaks, I like cam to run those. I'm talking about picking up real yardage to make downs more manageable...those are yards the RBs need to be getting.

Shocking how this philosophy was actually working the first part of the season. Then out OC basically decided he was going to go FULL SHULA on us.

Yes he is. Cam is more accurate than Luck. It's working out okay for him.

It's amazing how better receivers can make a QB "more accurate"

    • I would write “give remmers tight end help” on a yellow sticky note and stuck it in shulas playbook the night before superbowl 50.
    • And don’t worry about Bryce he will be great… Peyton Manning had a horrible rookie year too 😂
    • Nothing wrong with it at all until you start telling others they are bad fans or not fans. But you are the good fan because you never say negative stuff about the team.    I did many years of that type of uninformed fanning because there really was no info and coverage like there is with the internet.    I mean, I used to go to the store and get Street and Smith’s annual football issue. That was about the extent of what you could get if you didn’t live in a big city with sportswriters covering and reporting.  There was no video to look at or replay the games and if you didn’t live in the market you could only rarely see your football team play.    TI have fanned since being a kid in the early 1960s, and as late as 1995 - ‘97 I lived in Atlanta and good luck getting more than 3 or 4 games a year on TV. No radio either. No print coverage outside of an AP recap and box unless they played Atlanta.  People today that have always had the network connection don’t know.    I wasn’t very educated about the Panthers until I finally got internet.
