If Cam Sucks...Then

...so do Ryan Kalil, Deangelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart.  Like Cam, all past Pro-Bowl players.

Get some perspective morons, its a highly dependent Team Sport.

Gettleman dropped the ball, everyone saw it coming and to compound matters Shula is not an NFL OC

Yeah, I see Kalil overthrowing everybody, too.

He is contributing, along with his fellow OL members, it getting Cam who is already hurt hit so many times he is shell shocked.

9 sacks just 6 days ago, Cam has taken a beating.  This is what happens, especially when you have a dumb play caller like Shula.

I hate to tell ya, but the truth is Newton has actually had better protection today than he's had in a while.

Not all of the bad plays are on him, but unfortunately some of them have indeed been his fault.

He's just looking off right now.  Maybe he can get it back, but no denying he's earned his share of blame in this game.

No team sport depends on one position more than football. The guys you mention do not play that position.

Cam won't be good for the rest of the games. It starts from the top, but you know that. Good coaches get the best out of their players. They aren't going to help him. The past trauma Cam has endured has all added up to him breaking down this year. A QB can't be great forever with consistently terrible lines and coaching.

    • I presented that scenario because this is a home game and we seemed to have improved in some capacity in that area as of recently. The problem with the possibility of sweeping the Bucs is this team has had a habit of quickly falling victim to momentum shifts. The Bucs are coming off a bitter loss the same as the Panthers but the Bucs have a much better proven track record this time of year and they have performed when the pressure is on unlike our Panthers. We have a shot against the Seahawks here in BOA but that is a matchup that could quickly get out of hand because they are a well coached team and that goes back to the momentum shifts I mentioned. I just don't see this team beating the Bucs in their stadium to close the season. Tall order to say the least.
    • I’d give it another year for Sanders and Evans, I don’t much care what you do with Tremble’s spot. Let him have another year or maybe replace him. Haven’t looked at his contract so that may be the determining factor.
    • Following the crazy up down pattern we finish 9-8 with an improbable sweep of TB, and lay an egg in the home playoff game.  I don’t know if I can sign on to sweeping TB but I suppose it’s possible, they aren’t really that good this year.    ps I can buy beating TB Sunday and losing to Seattle.  Then it just gets to can you fluke one game. Any given Sunday. So we’ll see.
