RIP KB's OROY chances

Because if you just saw what Odell Beckham Jr. did... ho. ly. CRAP.

It's funny because literally moments prior to that I was debating with some other Panthers fans on Twitter about how I preferred KB and I'm glad we chose him instead. Then that happened and... yeah. I don't have much of an argument anymore. That's just INSANE.

lol, OBJ was draft way before the Panthers pick.

Gettleman commented on Beckham in his draft day presser, saying he was the only receiver they had looked at who had no questions about his route running.

And while I'm still quite happy with Kelvin Benjamin, I think we can all now clearly see why there were questions about him in that particular department.

I give the lean to Evans as well simply because he has not one but two mediocre qbs throwing to him.

Don't forget that Mike Evans also has a certain WR named Vincent Jackson who helps take just a little bit of pressure off of him.

KB came into a completely new WR core, and he's basically our #1 guy.

The truth is most of KBs stats have come in garbage time. That's why he won't win rookie of the year. You won't find a bigger KB supporter here than me, but that's the truth.

Truth is....when you claim MOST of his stats have come in garbage time...it makes you factually incorrect.   Most of his yards and TDs have not come in garbage time.  He certainly does have some garbage time stats though.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
