This week on the Huddle Podcast we discuss recent roster moves. Sammi gets direct info from Jason Williams on his release that contradicts what was tweeted yesterday.

Also

- Ron's coaching status

- Greg Hardy's twitter

- Deangelo Williams known as team "diva"

- and your usual dose of nonsense

This is what the season has come to.  I would love to find out what grudge Marshall McFadden, he of 7 tackles in three seasons with three teams, has against the panthers.  And how the Panthers have "tried to get him" three times and he turned them down.

What kind of car did Sammi get?

The older Christmas classics are the best!

My prediction for the game...38-10 Saints.  We play to a 3-3 tie through the 1st quarter, then the young secondary gets exposed and the Saints put up 21 on us in the 2nd quarter and 14 in the 3rd.  We score a meaningless TD in garbage time.

    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
    • Cos he looks much better?
