When Johnny went down....

When Johnny went down today everyone in the stands laughed. I instantly felt bad about it then proceed to explain to my wife how we shouldn't do that but at the same time it seemed appropriate. Anyone else there today and felt as dirty as me but then again...not?

Also everyone cheered once Hoyer came in to replace him. We weren't cheering Hoyer I don't think but instead cheering Manpurse going out.

I could understand cheering a runaway golf cart mowing down the entire Taints sideline at full speed, but anyone else... That isn't cool.

That was pretty shitty and classless of our "fans" that did that today. But, I find solace in that it was probably the same faction of ignorant assholes that want DA to start over Cam.

the cheering noise was made by Panthers and Browns fans alike. A few cheered because it was a good hit, some cheered when Manziel was  able to walk off without serious injury, some browns fans cheered when Hoyer went into the game,so it wasn't that we were like Saints fans, cheering the fact someone got injured.

I think maybe because it wasn't a obvious injury at first but then he went down almost like he was faking. Maybe it was more of a "oh come on Johnny haha" opposed to a "haha your hurt."

    • At this point the Tepper's seem to be leading you around by the nose based on how much time you spend carrying water for them so I'm not surprised you're struggling. We are the only team who saw fit to install Andy Dalton with his zero career playoff wins as a culture cornerstone and a key mentor. Even the putrid Saints wanted no parts of that. Truth hurts 🤷‍♂️
    • They have drafted two QB's since they took Hurts in the 2020 Draft. Tanner McKee(6th - 2023) and Kyle McCord(6th - 2025). In that span we have drafted Bryce Young(1st - 2023) and Matt Corral(3rd - 2022). Technically, we have invested significantly higher draft capital on QB's(albeit one less than they). It's not the investement that is the issue, it's the results. Corral was literally not a rosterable player with a THIRD ROUND PICK. We gave up a king's ransom for Bryce to basically get Davis Mills results(so far).
    • No QB from the draft or free agency was going to change this being a losing season for us. I mean we’re rebuilding, everything we’re doing is meant to be for winning tomorrow.
