hmm.......I think Harpers pick 6 was more being in a random place at the right time more than a great play.............it was a good catch and run back, but he's one more guy that is getting long in the tooth that needs replaced by some young fire in the future was well.......

I don't know if Harper has improved his game or if our defense around him has improved and made him look better but either way I am happy a panther won. Congrats Ron Harper! I never thought I would see the day where Harper won any kind of defensive award.

His play has greatly improved, a big part of that has come by way of limiting his exposure. The pass rush and outside coverage is much better than it was in the beginning of the season.

Harper is not as bad as people think he is around here. But retards do not understand why he is on the field. Knocking him because he is slow as hell making it hard for him to cover is misunderstanding his purpose on the team. He is here for his veteran leadership, solid run/containing plays and most importantley being able to be in the right spot at the right time by understand what is in front of him. He also lays the wood, an added bonus.

 

I think huddlers are just butthurt from playing against him so long. He is far from a great or maybe even a good player, but he is not what the huddle makes him out to be. He is a solid vet who is still able to be in the rights spot to make plays, despite being slow as fack. He is OK despite his mistakes.

You know how 6 weeks ago we were talking draft and no one thought the Panthers had a chance at the playoffs? I would have believed the Panthers would have made the playoffs a thousand times over Roman Harper winning Player of the Week.

I was a hater because of his past with the saints. He has been a good asset in the locker room and has made some great plays and head scratchers on the field. You can not dismiss leadership and its worth with our youth in the secondary. Good for him.

A lot of you are down on Harper but he has shown his presence this season.  He is also a great mentor to many of the players.
