He threw for 400+ yards and 70%+ completion rate.  He was the MVP.

 

Just get used to it, it's a QB league.  It's going to take a herculean effort by someone and a really lackluster QB performance by the winning QB for somone other than a QB to win the MVP in today's NFL.

Even Brady's throw to Lane in the end zone was spot on right to him......wrong team, but perfect nonetheless.

Yeah - he must not have seen him, it was ugly.  Heard that coming into this season Brady only had 2 red zone INT's in his career vs. something like 140 TD's. Not sure why that stat didn't include this year also but that is pretty solid.

Seriously... I've been thinking about it since last night. If Butler doesn't make that play, the Pats have to get into FG range with less than 20 secs to go. He literally won them the game.

Is it because of when the voting closes? If so, they need to fix the system.

Brady went 13/15 for 124 yd & 2 TDs to give them the lead after trailing 10 entering the 4th. Brady made it possible for Butler to make that play for the win. Without Tom's performance to gain the lead, Seattle wouldve been running out the clock rather than trying to pass for a game winning TD at that time.

Dude had to have been concussed on that hit from Chancellor. It also had me wondering at the time why that was a personal foul for targeting the head or neck area of a defenseless receiver. If Mike Mitchell had done that when he played here they almost certainly would have thrown the flag.

 

Before I get bashed for calling for nit picking a hit, I'm not for that rule entirely but if it's a rule it should be called fairly.

I was thinking that he better not even think about throwing the ball but from no angle did I see a place for him to get the ball to anyone.

I dont think its a contesr there. Now Edelman having 11 catches that were clutch routes against hardcore secondary is an argument.

He also stomped Wes Welkers ghost out of Patriots lore.

Edelman deserved it.  His clutch catching, good route running that almost always encompasses moving the chains, and his refusal to go down and getting some hard YAC against a much ballyhooed secondary is more than noteworthy.

 

Edit: Furthermore, Edelman's play spiced up those dink and dunk passes that were otherwise fairly unremarkable.
