Honestly---which will never happen---my dream scenario would be to have Justin Houston replace Hardy once Hardy departs.

JPP is probably a higher likelihood, and cheaper than even Hardy would be.

Houston isn't a 3 technique rusher.

He is 26, rAN A 4.71 at the combine, and is 6-5 and about 275.  Not as thick as Hardy, but he can do the job.  He will command about $12m-14m (my guess) in free agency.

When will you people realize Hardy is in fact not gone, he is currently a Panther and beyond that nobody knows. Not these so-called sources, not the owner of this message board, not Bill Voth, certainly not Joe Person. No one but possibly Gettleman, and he'd be foolish to have already made up his mind about it.
