Panthers Hoping To Sign Oher and Ginn Before Tuesday

Love it.

These are the types of signings we can expect and the types of signings that can really help us without damaging our cap space. Oher had a rough year last year, but he'd be the most talented OT on our roster since Gross which granted ain't saying much.

We know what Ginn would bring. Instant impact as a return man and deep threat.

Cool with that.

Said elsewhere though, I'm not ready to write off our return game just because Ginn signs elsewhere.

He is a familiar option, but not the only option.

I agree. First and foremost we NEED to get better at blocking on special teams.

I really like Tyler Lockette as a PR (he's a pretty good receiver as well) in the draft

Better than nothing, I'd be happy with both of them.

Oher would be a great backup but he's better than what we have now

And Ginn would be a good rotational receiver and of course a good return man.

I was serious when I said that. If I said "So exciting..." that would have been a horse of another color.

    • yea....Minnesota fell off the map this year after going 14-3 with Darnold...bet they wish he was back... and his record looks good this year...maybe he figured it out.... he does get the tight azz in big games still.

    • i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that?  even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
