comments from fellow Huddlers in the Titans cut OT Michael Oher thread:

PantherDynasty:

He's worse than Bell. And thats not a joke

Jeremy Igo

PFF ranks him lower than Nate Chandler.

Jeremy Igo

Remmers is at least in the positive, ranked far above Oher who is

way negative. Oher is a RT by the way. He won't ever play LT in the league again.

UNCrules2187:

PFF notes he's gotten worse every year since his rookie season

Matthias

He's a failed LT, and now he can't play RT.

TheSpecial1

He's terrible.

The Huddler

Dude is trash.

Mage

He has sucked since his 2nd season.

WOW!!

We've punished Cam enough...by putting RT's on the left side..

Rotoworld:

"Panthers signed OT Michael Oher to a two-year contract.

Turning 29 in May, Oher has been a disaster as both a pass and run blocker the past few seasons. The lowly Titans cut him in February, after just one season [at RT] ... The Panthers will be in trouble if they end up counting on Oher to make starts. He's best suited as a swing tackle"

Im gunna go on record, un edited, saying this guy is gunna turn it around and be a beast for us. Im on the wagon DAY ONE

flame me. Call me a dumbass. But 90% of you guys dont give him a chance, im in the other 10%

Welcome to the team Oher

I'm definitely with you sometimes all it takes is for a player to be put in the right environment. I don't see the point in trashing the guy who else is out there that is better? Hopefully he and Remmers can hold down the position for another year while we groom a rookie.

From Voth...

Michael Oher is part of the plan, he’s not THE plan. But, yes, he could start the season at LT. Probable stopgap, adds competition.

So Voth is speculating we're planning on falling back on Oher if we don't find a T in the draft?  I thought we'd at least consider the Derek Newton/Barksdale/Parnell types.  Well I guess we'll see what plays out.

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
    • Didn’t get around to watching this one but looks like Pistons played their starters and actually tried…? Unlucky that they sit vs Magic, etc and try vs us. Hopefully we can beat the Heat and then Magic or 6ers with no Embiid. BUT if not, the NBA really should give us the lottery win this year like they did Mavs last year. Another high pick could be our final missing piece and have us as legit top contenders next year and going forward if we’re healthy. Or trade it for a Giannis type
