My initial thoughts so far, since we won't be active in the early phase of FA...

We've brought the band back together for the most part. The only player of note from last year's team we're losing is Bell. We've at least signed another one in Oher, who "could" be an upgrade. We've kept all of our other guys, some who could have a bright future like Fozzy. Continuity could be nice, especially on the DL by bringing back both vet DTs for spot duty. We've also brought back Ginn, who at least instantly upgrades Special Teams (a damn achilles heel last year if there ever was one) and if nothing else, offers a fast guy to stretch the field and open up the middle for Olsen, KB, and check downs.

All small potatoes? Sure. But last year, we couldn't retain our own...so there's a silver lining of progress in there, although granted, last year's FA crop from the team was better. But just bringing back last year's team, which finished on a high note, while continuing to get healthy (Cam never was) and having the young guys improve is enough to win this division IMO. Now, hopefully adding some gems in the draft or a surprise Mike Mitchell level guy in FA (#2 WR perhaps?), it's time to leave no doubt on the road to 3 straight division titles. Get it done, Gettleman.

Hardy signs Panthers mega-deal at 4:05p. Huddle crashes. All-Pros get to keep Huddling. All-Pro subs go up 2000%.

Igo has been playing you guys this whole time. [emoji111]️

Don't get their hopes up. But this place would be much quieter without the kids. During the season we should have an AP Monday and lock out the kids.

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
