They're America's Team. They have a line across the country for sponsors. If someone is appalled that they'd sign Greg, they'd quickly fill the space with someone else. Makes sense.

They had the money to sign Murray, but didn't want to pay him what he wanted.

 

 

Hardy is likely to come cheap(er) than expected, probably on a short-term deal.

 

They've got $8m in cap space and can open up another $8m by designating CB Brandon Carr as a post-June 1 cut if they need it.

I think he really like one of those. Strangely the fruit is really juicy and the chocolate complements nicely. He should thank whoever sends him one. They are kinda expensive too. But he sure will enjoy it. Just don't let it melt Greg! Then it gets messy.

At this point Hardy is probably looking at a 1yr deal that won't break the bank.  No team wants to spend a bunch of money on a player with the kind of baggage he has.  Especially after the Ray Rice fiasco.  Rice's career looks like it's over, and Hardy is struggling to find a new home.  He's too talented not to sign somewhere but no one is "backing up the Brinks truck" like he said after the 2013 season.

Based on the apparent lack of competition for his services, they'll get him pretty cheap.
