Phillip Dorsett to meet with Panthers

“I have the U of M record -- 4.21 last summer,” Dorsett said.

That, folks, is super fast.

Of course, the Hurricanes have a long history of producing talented wide receivers. You’ve probably heard of Reggie Wayne, Andre Johnson, Devin Hester, and Santana Moss -- all four are Miami products drafted since 2001.

If Dorsett and Perriman are there in the first or second, who do you really think that Gettleman would pick knowing Gettleman's history?

Yeah.

Well a few of us already know the answer to that but nice bait top dawg haha.

Todd McShay on Miami's Pro Day today:

"1. Phillip Dorsett could sneak into the first round

Dorsett has been impressive throughout the draft process. It started out at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama...and continued today with excellent work in the drills. ... he really stood out in the passing drills."

    • Sellers looks too slow to be a dual threat so we'll see if he can elevate his passing/pocket game. Didn't watch much Arch either but seems like unless he really has a drive he's just rolling on nepo baby cred. Dante Moore looked ok but reminds me of a Brissett or Tyrod Taylor guy, can get it done but nothing earth shattering
    • Never having back to back winning seasons in franchise history will do that.  And frankly, only a Lombardi is going to change the general public's minds in the long term. Maybe. The media will likely find ways to call us the worst team ever to win one.
    • Lot of time for things to reveal themselves. I basically agree.   Sellers has all the tools.  They brought in new OC and it is all about getting him back  on track.  There will be others to emerge.    I only saw a little Mannng but I wasn’t getting excited at all. Seems like a lot less than we were led to believe he was going to be.
